Plex VR for Google Daydream fixes the most annoying thing about watching VR porn on Android

    0

Over the past year and a half or so since our launch, we’ve looked at a fair amount of different adult VR services but many of them suffer from the same drawback: the experience isn’t as immersive as it should be because you need to keep messing around with VR player apps to select the next video.

The only real exceptions to this are BaDoinkVR’s virtual theater mode and SexLikeReal’s app, but that ends up an expensive way to buy content. Now, however, the popular media streamer Plex is available for Google Daydream, meaning that you can keep watching your collection of VR porn movies without having to mess around to switch between them. It’s probably not great news for BaDoink’s virtual theater mode, but that allows you to stream movies, rather than need to have them on your device or a local Plex server first.

In fact, it’s not just VR content that you can watch in Plex VR – anything you’ve already got in your local media library (including 2D movies/shows, etc) can all be watched in the virtual environment too. You can’t watch live TV or schedule recordings via the app though.

As noted by Android Central, there’s a ‘Watch Together’ option that allows you to watch any of your stored content with up to 3 other people – though you, and they, will all need to be Plex Pass subscribers to use this feature. You’ll probably want to choose your friends well if you plan on watching porn with them though.

If you want to use Plex VR, you’ll need a handset that supports Google Daydream, which currently include:

    • Google Pixel
    • Google Pixel 2
    • Google Pixel XL
    • ZTE Axon 7
    • ASUS ZenFone 3 Deluxe
    • Motorola Moto Z
    • Motorola Moto Z Force
    • Huawei Mate 9 Pro
    • Porsche Design Mate 9
    • ASUS ZenFone AR
    • Samsung Galaxy S8
    • Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus
    • Samsung Galaxy Note 8
    • LG V30
