OK, finding porn online isn’t hard, but while free tube sites are no longer the low-res, short clip, spam and malware infested shit pits they once were (note: some still are all of these things), those free sites aren’t quite the same as a paid-for membership at the studios that create the videos.
So, in an attempt to drive signups for paid memberships, 110 porn sites have clubbed together to hold a special event called, yep, ‘Free Porn Day.’ That means you can access a whole list of premium sites for free for one day only, including, in most cases, unrestricted access to HD and 4K videos across a range of niches. In total, that’s more than a million full-length videos and other content, so you’re not going to get through it all.
While there are 110 or so sites included in the promotional day, those are owned by just 14 companies, including the likes of Vivid, Kink, Evil Angel and Adam & Eve – this is by no means uncommon in the porn industry, where the behemoth is MindGeek, formerly known as ManWin.
You won’t need a credit card to sign up for any sites on the day, but you might need to sign up with an email address at some of them – most of them should just be open though, a spokesperson told us.
So, if #FreePornDay is the sort of thing you want to mark in your calendar, September 8 is the morning/afternoon/evening/entire day to block off.
