CamSoda [NSFW], the live cam platform that has already experimented with ‘dickometrics‘, VR, and life streaming so far this year, has announced that hundreds of its performers now offer Language Lessons during one-on-one cam sessions.
As with other one-on-one sessions, users can interact via voice and video chat with native speaking cam models to learn the language of their choice – right now, there’s English, French, Spanish, and Romanian. Japanese should be available soon too.
The company says it conducted a two-month beta of the ‘Language Lessons’ program with 10,000 users, during which time their speaking, reading and comprehension skills improved, along with “general cultural knowledge about mannerisms, etiquette and body language.”
There’s no set price for each lesson – that’s dictated by each model and translates to somewhere between about 50 tokens for a 20-minute lesson to 3,000 for 20 minutes, depending on the performer.
Whether or not you leave the lessons with a full grasp of a foreign language after just 20 minutes remains to be seen, but you will most likely have a smile on your face.
