Adult cam site Stripchat (NSFW) has launched a new feature – ‘Oral-ytics’ – that uses AI technology to identify instances of oral sex within live-streaming video.
Oral-ytics follows the camming platform’s launch of Anal-lytics in August this year, a video recognition technology that can detect anal sex through machine-learning algorithms.
The idea is that adding to its AI capabilities will improve the site for users by categorizing live content automatically, while also improving traffic for its cam models, who will now be able to build up their fanbase more easily.
“As oral sex continues to grow in popularity on our site, we’re excited to introduce this technology that allows viewers to easily access live instances of fellatio from anywhere in the world,” Max Bennett, VP of New Media for Stripchat, told SEXTECHGUIDE.
“Using advanced AI and machine learning, we’ve developed an algorithm that helps bring users and cam models together through their favorite sex acts – including oral and anal – in real time,” Bennett added.
In the coming months, Stripchat plans to implement the same feature for other fan favorites, such as live BDSM shows, squirting, and fisting.
The cam site claims the technology is 92 percent accurate, with the algorithm reviewing tens of thousands of images and videos, marking instances where oral acts are present in a scene, and incorporating the verified stream of oral into categories and searches.
The team also established a convolutional neural network (a type of neural network that categorizes images) that allows the AI to detect if humans in the video match the sex act the algorithm is reporting.
