Last updated: 3 June 2026. This page describes how we protect the SEXTECHGUIDE website and how to report a security issue to us responsibly. It complements our Privacy Policy.
Our commitment to security
SEXTECHGUIDE, operated by BBT Media Limited, takes the security of our website and the limited personal data we hold seriously. We are an editorial publisher: we do not take reader payments, run reader accounts, or host user uploads, which keeps our attack surface deliberately small. The measures below describe how we protect what we do hold.
How we protect the site
- Encryption in transit. The entire site is served exclusively over HTTPS/TLS, and we use HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to require encrypted connections.
- Hardened HTTP response headers. We send a strong set of security headers, including
Strict-Transport-Security,X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff,X-Frame-Options,Referrer-Policy,Cross-Origin-Resource-Policy, and a restrictivePermissions-Policythat disables device capabilities such as the camera, microphone, and geolocation. - Content Security Policy. We operate a Content Security Policy that restricts which sources may load scripts, styles, and frames, reducing the risk of cross-site scripting and injection.
- Minimal data and hashing. We collect as little personal data as possible. Anti-abuse identifiers (such as the anti-duplication fingerprint used for anonymous article voting) are stored only as one-way hashes and expire automatically.
- Reputable infrastructure and processors. Our hosting, content delivery, and other service providers are established vendors with their own strong security programmes, bound by data-processing agreements.
- Access control and maintenance. We limit administrative access, keep our platform and components updated, and monitor the site for malware and integrity issues.
No website can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we work continuously to protect our systems and your data.
Reporting a vulnerability (responsible disclosure)
If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in the SEXTECHGUIDE website, we welcome your report and thank you for helping keep our readers safe. Please email contact@sextechguide.com with the subject line “Security” and include:

Guidelines for researchers
If you act in good faith and follow these guidelines, we will not pursue or support legal action against you for your research:
- Give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and fix the issue before disclosing it publicly.
- Do not access, modify, or delete data that is not yours, and do not degrade or disrupt our service (no denial-of-service or spam testing).
- Only interact with accounts and data you own or have explicit permission to test.
- Do not use social engineering, phishing, or physical attacks against our staff or infrastructure.
- Comply with all applicable laws.
We will acknowledge valid reports, keep you updated on our progress where appropriate, and aim to resolve confirmed issues promptly. We do not currently run a paid bug-bounty programme, but we are grateful for responsible disclosure.
