As we covered in our review, the platform made it easy to avoid unwanted explicit images through its consent-based features and AI-driven safety tools.
Co-founded by Alex Sergent, Phil, Gillian, and Anna, the London-based app came together after the co-founders recognized the need for more authenticity in online dating, particularly around sexual communication and expectations. The platform included selfie verification and government ID verification to maintain user safety while encouraging openness about intimacy preferences. The beta launched in 2020 with over 10,000 sign-ups and achieved a 5.2% conversion rate to premium plans in its first four weeks. The company was dissolved in September 2023 according to Companies House records.
