Xounds

Xounds is a peer-to-peer audio erotica platform where people create and share authentic erotic sounds, stories, ASMR, and tutorials—think of it as a community-driven alternative to polished, scripted audio content. Launched in Berlin in 2024 by founders Cornelia Steinbock and Gabor Farkasch, the app centers on amateur creators uploading their own pleasure sounds, intimate tutorials, and sensual storytelling in a space that’s explicitly queer-friendly and inclusive. As we covered in our deep dive into their beta launch, the platform uses AI moderation called “xoundcheck” to enforce consent standards and community guidelines while keeping the vibe authentic and unfiltered. What sets Xounds apart in the audio erotica space is its emphasis on user anonymity and data ownership—creators can share intimate content without sacrificing privacy, and the platform operates on a freemium model with premium access options. It’s backed by Berlin’s Startup Stipendium program and positions itself as the ethical, community-focused answer to mainstream audio erotica apps. The in-app recording tools make it easy for anyone to contribute, turning listeners into creators and building what the team describes as a safe space for exploring audible pleasure without judgment.
