Ohdoki is offering $1,000 for information leading to the recovery of 619 Handy 2 and Handy 2 Pro strokers stolen from a train somewhere between Los Angeles and Dallas.

Ohdoki, the Sweden-based company that makes the devices, told KTLA the shipment was valued at around $250,000. The company says it hopes to “work with authorities” to understand how the theft happened, which is a fairly modest ambition when a quarter-million dollars’ worth of product vanishes in transit.

The Handy 2 and Handy 2 Pro are follow-ups to the original Handy, one of the better-regarded connected strokers on the market, and came off a $1.5 million Kickstarter that shipped in February.

Worth noting, as we flagged in our coverage of the Handy 2 launch, that Ohdoki ran a Kickstarter for a product from an already commercially established company with over 200,000 units sold. Some backers are still waiting on crowdfunded orders, which puts the missing freight shipment in a slightly awkward light.

Now Ohdoki has confirmed that the theft won’t affect customer orders, and has outlined its reward terms. The company is offering $1,000 cash for information that leads to the recovery of the stolen shipment, plus every device made by the company, including future releases, though whether that sweetener is worth much depends on how ambitious Ohdoki’s roadmap actually is.

The company has created a wanted poster (belto help the effort.

Following the theft Jens Petter Wilhelmsen, Ohdoki’s CEO, told KTLA: “It’s one of those situations you never think you will find your company in. While we know our customers enjoy products that are far more technologically advanced than what has been historically available, we also know that it raises our profile for thieves seeking high-end tech devices.”

The theft has also raised the profile of the Handy 2 and Handy 2 Pro launch somewhat, with TV host Jimmy Kimmel joking about the incident on Jimmy Kimmel Live!. “Police are looking for a suspect with 619 penises,” Kimmel joked.

In case you happen to know who swiped the masturbators, you can find information about claiming the reward at Ohdoki’s Handy website.
