Lovense is releasing a remote vibrator that can be used to play a Flappy Bird-style mobile game (remember that from 2013?), with character movement controlled by the player caressing the dildo section of the vibe.

The Lovense Mission 2, which follows on from the company’s Gravity vibrator launched in 2022, is now available to buy, costing $129.99.

As well as being able to sync up with the video game, the shaft of the vibrator can be used to remotely control a Lovense sex toy (like a Solace Pro), for long-distance couples play or camming.

Like the Gravity vibrator before it, the Mission 2 has a mountable suction cup, allowing you to attach it to a surface. It has 180 degrees of movement, giving plenty of ‘hands-free’ potential.

The gaming element is also rather novel and cute, even if it’s using the popularity of game over a decade old to showcase the potential. Via the Lovense Remote app, a Mission 2 vibrator can be synced with a game called Flappy Jumpy. Both the title and gameplay of the game are remarkably similar to the side-scrolling Flappy Bird game that became a surprise global hit.

In Flappy Jumpy, you make a cutesy winged character elevate itself to collect mushrooms, by caressing the dildo shaft section of the Mission 2 vibrator.

The Mission 2 also has strong remote sex potential, as it can be synced to Lovense devices such as the Solace and Max 2 penis strokers plus the Lush 3 vibrator, which we reviewed here. When synced, hand strokes delivered to the Mission 2 shaft are replicated on the paired device.

Cam performers can use this sync function to simulate movements such as blow jobs and hand jobs for their viewers and the latter’s synced Lovense sextech devices.

The Mission 2 is described by Lovense as having a “velvety-soft” tip section designed to stimulate the G-spot. The device features Lovense’s Touch-Sense Technology, a system that makes vibrations intensify as you insert it deeper inside yourself.

The vibrator’s insertable length is 140 millimeters, the tip’s maximum width is 37 millimeters, and the suction cup’s width is 76 millimeters. There was a little confusion over whether the Mission 2 is adjustable through 160-degrees or 180-degrees, as the marketing initially stated both, but we’ve been assured that it’s 180-degrees by a spokesperson for Lovense.
