Lovense launches Velvo: the app-controlled rolling bead rabbit vibrator that disappeared once before it got here

Lovense has launched a rolling bead rabbit vibrator called the Velvo, which targets both G-spot and clitoral stimulation. It’s the company’s first rabbit entry in a while, and worth watching given how crowded the next-gen rabbit market has become, featuring a rolling bead motion that travels up the shaft. The Velvo launched on April 10, 2026, and retails for $119.

The shaft has a textured bead design and can hit up to 165 rotations per minute. Made in the classic ‘rabbit’ design, the Velvo has an appendage that pleasures the G-spot as well as one designed to put vibes all over the clitoris.

This being a Lovense sex toy, the focus is very much on app-control. You can build custom vibration patterns via the Lovense Remote app. The Velvo can also be synced to other Lovense toys, so its vibrations and movements coincide with the other sex toy, offering couples play potential.

For example, pair it with a masturbator like the Max 2 and the two devices sync so the Max 2’s contractions match the Velvo’s rotation, a couples-play setup that’s become a Lovense staple. If you’re not already familiar with what the Max 2 actually does, it’s worth a look before spending $119 on a compatible partner device.

Some people managed to get their hands (and glands) on a Velvo in 2025, when it had a low-key trial release. Some Reddit users complained that the Velvo had been quickly withdrawn from sale and seemingly scrubbed from the internet following the trial launch.

When SEXTECHGUIDE asked Lovense about the 2025 product withdrawal, a company spokesperson denied that the device had initially been faulty.

They said: “The 2025 pause/withdrawal was not due to a technical or safety issue. As with some of our launches, we ran a limited early trial release to gather real-world user feedback, then decided to pause broader availability so we could further optimize the product before the official launch.”

The spokesperson added: “Based on that feedback, we made refinements to improve the overall experience, including optimizing usage time and rotating speed (among other performance tweaks). The earlier version wasn’t ‘faulty’, but we felt these improvements were important to deliver a better experience for users at full release.”

Soulkyn recently announced that Lovense sex toys are now compatible with handing over control to AI characters on the Soulkyn platform.
