Pornhub’s finally dropped its Flash video player for desktops

This one might seem like a minor point, but given the combined target of one of the world’s largest porn sites and never-ending security vulnerabilities in Flash, it’s actually really good news that Pornhub has abandoned its old video player in favor of HTML5.

What it should mean is a safer, quicker browsing experience for desktop users – given that mobile devices largely dropped support for Flash already, HTML5 players have been commonplace for a good while already.
