Handi made sex toys specifically designed for people with hand limitations, dexterity issues, arthritis, and other disabilities. The brand worked directly with disabled people to co-create products that actually addressed their needs – something that’s been seriously lacking in the sex toy industry, as we’ve covered in our article about how the sex tech industry could better serve disabled people.
The brand rebranded to Bump’n and developed the Bump’n Joystick, which they marketed as the “world’s first disability-driven sex toy.” However, the project was cancelled ahead of full production, leaving a gap in accessible pleasure products that few brands have stepped up to fill.
