WowTech

WowTech is the parent company behind some of the biggest names in pleasure tech—Womanizer, We-Vibe, Arcwave, and Pjur. If you’ve heard about Pleasure Air technology (that contactless clitoral stimulation that took over the industry), that’s Womanizer’s thing, and they’ve fiercely defended their patents in court, winning a $12.8M lawsuit against copycats. We-Vibe pioneered app-controlled couples’ toys, while Arcwave focuses on male pleasure innovation—we reviewed their Voy stroker with its unique tightness adjustment system. Pjur rounds out the portfolio with premium lubricants and intimate care products. Formed in 2018 when WOW Tech Group and Lovehoney Group merged its brand portfolios, WowTech operates out of Berlin and positions itself as a design-forward, innovation-focused company. The whole “Designed to empower” tagline runs through everything—they’re big on body positivity messaging and normalizing pleasure conversations. Their brands cover pretty much every angle: clitoral stimulation, couples’ play, male strokers, and lubes, making them one of those behind-the-scenes giants you might not know by name but definitely know by product.
