Chaturbate (NSFW) is rolling out a new feature that lets broadcasters offer control of their camera to viewers for a price.
The feature is currently in beta and open to signup from broadcasters that are interested in testing it out to see how well it converts into more tokens per session.
In essence, for a set price – it’s unclear whether broadcasters can set this themselves, or if it’s a standard fee, at this stage – viewers can tip a certain number of tokens to change the angle or zoom of the camera.
The move follows a period of revamping its infrastructure setup to ensure less downtime at the end of 2016.
Whether or not the ability to change the camera angle will stave the growing popularity of VR porn and live VR live cams will be a space to watch in 2017.
