AI, sustainability and the regulatory landscape are topics set to be addressed in the forthcoming Reimagine Sexuality online sextech conference, due to take place on Zoom on October 1-3, 2023.
The event will feature a slew of speakers from the sextech industry, with most coming from the corporate side things. However, the event will also incorporate the annual International Congress on Love & Sex With Robots event, which will feature academics and writers talking on sex robot topics such as AI chatbots.
The Reimagining Sexuality Zoom sessions will be with interactive, featuring panel discussions and Q&A segments. The event will be hosted by Rocio Pelayo, sextech consultant and founder of the conference, Simon Dubé, postdoctoral research fellow with the Kinsey Institute specializing in human-machine erotic interaction, and Bobbi Bidochka, a sex sociologist and author.
Speakers include Ariel Martinez, Saniyyah Lateef and Angelica Cosmo, curators at porn site MakeLoveNotPorn, Robert Duff-Silsby, founder of ‘all-bodies’ sex toy company Luddi, and Dr Soum Rakshit, co-founder and CEO of MysteryVibe.
Other topics set to be tackled in relation to sextech include cryptocurrency, social media, wearables, medicine and public policy.
Further speakers booked include philosophy and bioethics associate professor Dr Maurizio Balistreri, UberLube brand director Cheryl Sloane and Frances tang, founder and CEO of Awkward Essentials.
An online access ticket to the Reimagine Sexuality conference cost either $69 (live only) or $97, with the latter providing the option to participate in Q&As, and on-demand streaming after the event has ended.
