Womanizer has released a new compact clitoris stimulator device combining the designs of the brand’s popular Next and Liberty devices.
The new airwave-focused device has been named the Next Liberty, somewhat logically. The idea is a travel-friendly clit stimulator that has the compact appeal of the Liberty, but with a tech upgrade bringing it closer to the ability of the Womanizer OG, which STG found delivers impressive G-spot and external clitoral stimulation.
The Next Liberty costs $129 and, like both the Next and Liberty, comes equipped with Womanizer’s patented Pleasure Air technology.
Rather than giving stimulation through vibrations, for this tech motors create waves of air pressure and pulses against whichever body part the device is held next to, which in this case should ideally be a clit. The result is a sensation that feels like someone going down on you.
The Next Liberty is 164 millimeters long at its longest section. The Liberty 2, the latest incarnation of the Liberty range, is 105 millimeters long, so although the Next Liberty is bigger, it’s still very much travel-sized. It weighs 150 grams: about the weight of an apple.
The new device charges via a USB-C charger compatible with recent iPhones and some Macbooks, adding to its travel-friendly credentials. It’s waterproof, can be used for up to two hours between charges, and takes 90 minutes to fully charge.
The Next Liberty has eight Pleasure Air pattern settings and three intensity levels. The levels are operated by technology Womanizer calls Climax Control, that makes suction sensations deeper as you rise through the device’s settings, aiming for a fuller sensation.
Whether Climax Control actually delivers more oomph than the Liberty 2, rather than just more marketing copy, is something STG will only be able to say once we’ve tested one.
Womanizer guards its technology closely. In 2023 WOW Tech Group, the company that makes the Womanizer devices, won a $12.8 million counterclaim lawsuit against EIS Inc, makers of the Satisfyer devices, over patent issues.
