Hot Octopuss has released an upgraded version of its popular Pulse Duo couples wearable device for penises, with the original version having been in circulation since 2019.
The Pulse Duo is a sleeve device designed to be worn on the penis during penetrative sex, or used solo as a penis stroker. With penis sleeves and couples-focused devices both becoming more popular in the sextech industry in recent years, it’s proved a successful product for the London-based sextech company.
The newly-upgraded version, which sells for $149, seems to be born of evolution rather than revolution, with the company saying it took customer feedback on board for the 2025 re-work of the design.
The most significant change is that the Pulse Duo is now 105 millimeters long, 78 millimeters tall and 61 millimeters wide, so is 40 percent smaller than its previous incarnation. This means that the device should offer a snugger fit on the penis than before. It’s also lighter than before, weighing 229 grams, with the previous model weighing around 100 grams more.

Another design change is an arched-style base for the device, which Hot Octopuss says is designed to help part the vulva during penetration and to bring more pleasure during grinding movements.
Pulse Duo Feature Rundown
The separate remote control that comes with the device now has four buttons instead of three. It features buttons for mode and speed variations, plus a button for a new turbo mode giving more motor intensity.
The Pulse Duo features dual motors: one designed to stimulate the partner of the person wearing the device, and one on the ‘plate’ section of the device. The new turbo function works on the ‘partner’-focused motor, but not the plate motor. Hot Octopuss says that the new motors deliver deeper, more rumbly oscillations than the previous version.
“While one motor oscillates, the other vibrates, ensuring both partners get the perfect level of stimulation. The Pulse Duo provides intense, rumbly vibrations delivered by a powerful second motor,” the company says.
As is the case for all penis sleeves in the Pulse range, the Duo utilizes oscillating medical technology the company calls PulsePlate Technology. It delivers stimulation using vibrations at specific frequencies and amplitudes that have been found in medical research to allow men with spinal cord injuries to orgasm.
Hot Octopuss has released various versions of the popular Pulse penis sleeve, including a collaboration with sextech company Kiiroo in 2021 that enabled long-distance and interactive features. The company also regularly releases new vibrators, including the recently-launched Kurve.
