Kiiroo has released a new stroker add-on that somewhat turns the ‘interactive sex toy’ standard on its head, by allowing you to sync video playback with your toy, as well as providing synced control for interactive-capable toys.

The $49 Kiiroo Control is designed to be screwed to the bottom of any of Kiiroo’s Feel strokers, but the company says it can be attached to some non-Kiiroo penis strokers too. In fact, the company claims ‘all’ strokers, but that seems unlikely, given that it requires a screw-on section at the bottom. We haven’t yet confirmed with Kiiroo, but it looks like it should work with most Fleshlights.

While most penis stroker syncing devices are designed to have the stroker product controlled by movements seen on video (usually porn), the Control has the reverse approach with its ‘Video Control’ mode, syncing the video to your movements, not the other way around.

In this mode, when synced to a game or video using the Control, you can make an upwards stroke motion on the penis stroker device to play, stop or pause the on-screen content. You can also use buttons on the side of the Control to skip video forward or rewind.

Stroking a device attached to your schlong may seem like a mildly convoluted way to control video content, but Kiiroo says the setup is “perfect for edging”. Edging is the process of bringing yourself or a partner to the brink of orgasm, then halting action just before the crucial moment, to prolong the pleasure. The idea in this context being that you can quickly pause and resume your content with a brisk stroke at that crucial moment.

As well as video and gaming control, the Control can be used to convert a penis stroker to a more conventional remote sextech setup. To do this, when in ‘Toy Control’ mode you connect to the FeelConnect app, with your remote partner also connecting their toy to the app. Your (manual) strokes will them be reflected in your partner’s automated toy, like the Keon or Pearl series.

Kiiroo says that it’ll also be launching an adaptor that allows the Control to be connected to dildos in the near future, and there’s already an SDK available for download from Github aimed at developers that want to create their own movement-based features and experiences (like the ‘Video Control’ mode).

The $49 Kiiroo Control can be bought for $99 as part of a package with a Kiiroo Feel Stroker, or for $79 packaged with the recently-released ‘travel-friendly’ Pocket Stroker.
