Industry behemoth Pornhub has announced a new subscription model for couples who want to share their viewing turn-ons with their other half.

Premium Lovers Membership is billed as a way “to help couples spice up their relationships by giving them a tool to explore each other’s sexual interests and fantasies.”

Both members will receive individual accounts including Premium access, no adverts, and HD streaming. In addition, both will be able to curate a “lover’s playlist” that’s shared with the other person, allowing you to get a better handle on what really turns on your partner.

Pornhub’s recommendation engine will suggest further viewing based on both partners’ choices, so you can explore fantasies together.

“Interestingly, studies show that partners who watch porn together have a more satisfying sex life than those who do separately – or in secret,” said Corey Price, Vice President, Pornhub. “Couples who play together, stay together.”

Premium Lovers subscriptions cost $14.99 per month, or $142.99 for a year up-front, after a seven-day trial. There are deals for existing Premium account holders who wish to upgrade to a Lovers’ package, too. Regular Premium access (for one person) costs $9.99 per month.

The news comes at a time when Pornhub has been fighting what it refers to as an ‘intentionally misleading’ petition calling for its closure.

The petition, organised by religious campaign group Exodus Cry, accuses Pornhub of being complicit in trafficking and abuse offences committed by pornographers.

Pornhub has repeatedly defended its position, pointing to its security features designed to prevent non-complicit portrayal of sexual activity, which it claims are among the strictest in the business.
