How to enable “Install unknown apps”
Most apps install straight from Google Play. To install one from an APK file instead, you give your browser or file manager a one-time permission to install apps. On Android 8 and later — which covers every current phone — this is a per-app setting, not a single system-wide switch, and the steps below are the same all the way up to Android 16.
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap Apps, then Special app access (open the three-dot menu first if you don’t see it).
- Tap Install unknown apps.
- Choose the app you’ll install the APK from — usually your browser (Chrome) or a file manager (Files).
- Turn on Allow from this source.
You can also just tap the downloaded APK file — Android will prompt you to grant this permission to whichever app you opened it from.
Where to find it on popular phones? The brand may be different, and the wording differs slightly, but the per-app permission structure is the same:
- Samsung (One UI): Settings → Apps → tap the app → Install unknown apps → Allow from this source. On older One UI: Settings → Biometrics and security → Install unknown apps.
- Xiaomi (HyperOS / MIUI): Settings → Apps → Permissions → Install unknown apps → tap the app → Allow from this source.

The XNXX app is a no-nonsense download that gets you straight into the action, without the need to register or create an account. It comes from one of the oldest sites on this list, but it’s one of the latest to release its own native app.
With the XNXX app installed, you’ll find access to a whole lot of free porn videos and pictures. There are links for erotic stories and porn games too, but these aren’t available to view within the app.
You can filter by tags, specific porn stars, ‘popular’, and ‘best of’ — or use the site search to find whatever you want. Additionally, you can choose how many videos you view per row (between 1 and 3), and decide whether you want the video preview enabled for the thumbnails.
As for privacy features, there aren’t many. However, you don’t need to delete your browser data, which gives it another advantage over using the website directly.
The XNXX app is free to download and use. There is a premium option, but it’s unlikely you’ll want to subscribe to it. Regarding safety, a quick run through the virus scanner shows an almost all-clear report — one scanner engine recognizes it as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Program) containing ads. iStripper has been around for well over a decade, but its arrival on mobile came not a moment too soon — even if it’s still best experienced on a desktop, in our opinion. iStripper’s Mobile web app (review) delivers a similar experience to the desktop software, except without the need for downloads, which is no small thing when photos and videos are taking up every damn spare MB of space on everyone’s phones. Sure, you can’t access all the oldest scenes on iStripper mobile (but why would you want to?), but what’s there is a massive selection of high-quality models stripping on your Android or iOS phone/tablet.
It’s particularly useful for anyone that has already built up a collection of shows from the last year or two, who wants to access them anywhere. That said, there’s plenty of free content available to watch without spending a penny.

The AIO Porn App (full review on the way) is made by an independent developer, and brings together porn scenes from 120+ popular studios and tube sites. The result is a lot of full-length premium porn scenes for free, which is never something to complain about around here!
There are options to lock the app, to provide some extra privacy, and the app icon is already anonymous enough to not draw any attention. The name shows only ‘AIO Streamer’ once installed.
You can search across all the different sites (Chaturbate, HQPorner, ePorner, YouPorn, Pornhub, and a whole load more options) or select any combination of them in the options sidebar. Yes, it is ad-funded, but there was no sign of any malware or other potentially malicious software in the virus scan, and the ads aren’t too intrusive. They’re in-stream video ads that can be skipped after 10 seconds and only appear every 10 minutes, and on every 10th porn video. There’s also a banner ad at the top of the page, currently. There’s even the option of using either the built-in video player, or another installed on your phone.

Milevids
Milevids (review) squeaked its way onto our list of best porn apps, though we experienced the odd playback and low-quality video issue in our testing way back in 2019. Those are now, on the whole, resolved. Either way, it has hundreds of thousands of videos, a whole bunch of categories to easily find whatever you’re looking for, and is entirely free. There have been a claimed 2+ million downloads of the app, but there’s no way of verifying those claims. There aren’t any download options, which will put some people off, but there is a ‘force low-quality’ setting to keep data usage down if you need that, so it might be a good option for anyone on a limited mobile data plan.
Other than that, it’s a very straightforward — and heavily ad-funded — porn app that’s badly in need of updating, if it’s to continue being useful in the future. In the process of updating this post, we found an old screenshot of the site from 2018 — it looks exactly the same as today.

While the rest of the porn apps in this list have been native mobile APKs, we’re including the PornoXO (review) mobile site option here for a few reasons — namely, because you can use it even if you have a crappy connection, as there’s a low-bandwidth version of the mobile site too.
Focusing on the regular mobile site for now, there’s the option to register (free) to save your favorites, tag-based navigation, and the option to watch and make playlists of clips that other people can then view. These playlists are all accessible in their own section. If you’re inclined, you can even upload your own videos too — and you’ll find a lot of user-generated content on the site. There are a whole load of different filtering options available across the whole catalog, as well as the ability to just jump to a random video.

Melondream
Melondream was once impressive, but images only — no videos or any other content — and no updates make it less appealing today. On top of that, it’s also worth noting that the site (and download location) both still show SSL warnings in our latest tests. On most browsers, you can proceed past the warnings to download the app, but it’s not very encouraging.
The Melondream APK (review) was once the only app in this list that could claim any hint of artificial intelligence went into its creation. Now, there are a whole load of great AI porn generators (check out promptchan.ai) and virtual girlfriend services (Candy.ai is a great place to start), so it’s not really as interesting as it once was for most users.
If you do still want to use Melondream, it’s super-simple — just download it, connect to the only server available by hitting the ‘enter’ button, and then either sit back and enjoy the slideshows, or use the ‘Wander’, ‘Dream’ or ‘Trance’ options to gently navigate your way to new image sets. Sure, it’s just images, and you can’t control the length/speed of the slideshow, but it’s a novel take on finding porn pictures that brings something new to the table — for free, and without bombarding you with ads.
Please note that as of our last check in October 2023, the DriftWheeler website doesn’t have a valid SSL certificate, so it shows a warning when you try and visit it. You can still visit, though, or download the Melondream APK directly from the Driftwheeler site via this link.

In the 15+ years Literotica.com has been online, it’s accrued more than 250,000 erotic stories and poems, many of which are user-submitted. You can set a PIN code on the Literotica Android app, and all page navigation is via swipes, rather than buttons.
To make reading easier, you can tweak font size and the color scheme, which definitely comes in handy. Future planned upgrades include support for audio stories and commenting directly within the app.
The app doesn’t currently trigger any warnings on the virus scan (updated May 2025).

Nutaku’s long-awaited native Android APK is a bit of a mixed bag, but not because there’s anything wrong with the app itself. The problem is the restricted selection of porn apps and games available within it, compared to the huge Nutaku catalog that’s available through a browser.
At launch, it only had 200 titles available to download, though it was planning to continue to add to that number over time.
What’s probably the best thing about it right now is that any apps you download via the Nutaku app itself can be played and managed directly via the store.

Aptoide
Aptoide isn’t a porn streaming app. Instead, it’s a third-party app store that’s swimming with content, provided you keep one key thing in mind: a lot of the apps aren’t very good.
Each user can create their own ‘store’ of downloads, so you’ll find multiple versions of the same site if you search for something generic like ‘porn app’. You’ll need to enable adult content by confirming you’re over 21 in the Aptoide settings menu, though.
