Naughty America has launched a new virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) sex simulator, that lets you watch nude human avatars have sex.
Virtual Sex World is a subscription service and is billed by the online porn company as “the most immersive sex simulator on the web”. It allows you to combine a VR headset with AR avatar porn.
The 3D avatars in Virtual Sex World look to be pretty well rendered. You can choose to watch nude avatars get it on in a variety of categories that you might find on more traditional porn sites, such as ‘Big dicks’, ‘Big tits’, ‘MILF’, ‘Doggy style’ and ‘Ride it’.
It costs $5.95 a month when you subscribe to Virtual Sex World for a year, $24.95 for one month’s access as a one-off, and $1.95 for a one-day trial.
Before the launch of Virtual Sex World, Naughty America was already placing more focus on VR porn on its main site, albeit featuring ‘real’ porn actors in VR scenes rather than avatars. Many industry-watchers believe that VR is the future of the online porn business, with AR offerings along for the ride too.
However, towards the end of the year, the company split all its augmented reality projects off from the main Naughty America site, resulting in the launch of RealGirlsNow. It seems, with a number of headsets expected to launch in 2023, the focus on digital worlds will remain this year too.
Other companies have tried getting in on the AR subscription action, but have appear to be somewhat lacklustre. My AR Girls offers AR recordings of real porn models such as Freya Von Doom, Jessica Rayne and Kelsie Monroe, instead of avatars. However, it launched in 2018, and hasn’t been updated with new content since 2021.
It costs $24.99 a month to subscribe to My AR Girls, but the pricing isn’t very clearly signposted at the moment, and you probably shouldn’t expect too many updates in the imminent future.
