San Francisco PornFilmFestival 2021

The second San Francisco PornFilmFestival is set to take place as a hybrid online and offline event in November 2021, following its launch as an online-only event in 2020.

The bash, which will feature adult film screenings, talks and question and answer sessions, will take place on November 11 and 12 at the San Francisco’s Brava Center for Women in the Arts, while streaming online simultaneously. The films screened at the festival will continue to be available on demand to online attendees until November 28, 2021.

The festival is raising funds and selling tickets through its Indiegogo page, and is being hosted by PinkLabel.tv: a porn film membership platform specialising in independent adult films. PinkLabel.tv is part of Pink and White Productions: an LGBTQ+ film studio.

90 films will be screened across the event, which was conceived as a US version of the influential Porn Film Festival Berlin. It was launched during the Covid-19 pandemic as a purely online event, before going hybrid for its second edition in 2021.

Titles set to be screened at the festival include the classic gay film Forbidden Letters. Robert Adams, star of the film, will be making an appearance at the event alongside LGBT film historian Jenni Olson. Other films to be screened include Matinée by Jennifer Lyon Bell and Chemistry Eases the Pain by Shine Louise Houston. The two films will be shown in a double-bill event.

Unconventional porn films set to be shown at the event include Almond Linden’s Pulse Porn: which sees a couple have sex while their hearts are monitored by a pulse sensor. Max Disgrace’s Rapture, meanwhile, is a queer ‘horror’ porn film featuring intimate, “wet and slimy” relations with a mysterious figure.
