The latest interactive stroker to join the Lovense family of devices is the Calor, a squeezable masturbator with depth-controlled vibrations and warming function. The Calor’s launch also marks the integration of Lovense toys with the interactive adult VR site SexLikeReal, following on from the 3DXChat support added towards the end of 2021.

Like the other Lovense toys, the Calor is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing you to connect it to other Lovense devices and a whole range of different content sources via the Lovense Remote app and Lovense Media Player. The Lovense Remote app is available for iOS, Android, Windows and Mac.

Unlike the other Lovense masturbator Max 2, the Calor is much smaller, more compact, and lighter—weighing 344.5g—though it has a little more tech to it than the smaller Lovense Gush handsfree massager. It retails for around $110 in the US, and around £100 in the UK.

Lovense Calor: what the tech?

With three vibration levels, 10 vibration patterns, and three sensors inside, the deeper you insert your penis, the more intense the vibrations are, Lovense says (we have a review unit on the way, so will let you know). Its squeezable body is designed to accommodate various sized penises and allows you to add as much, or little, pressure as you like while stroking.

Lovense Calor is IPX7 waterproof, which means it can be submerged up to one meter in water for up to 30 minutes, making it suitable for some bathtub relaxation or shower fun—and most importantly, makes the clean up much easier.

For couples in long-distance relationships, the Calor can be used interactively with the Max, Max 2, Nora or another Calor. As with many other teledildonic devices, you can synchronize your device to another’s anywhere in the world. These features are also a solid money-making methods for cam performers too.

With the interactivity as a primary selling point, Lovense has added SexLikeReal to its list of supported services “[giving] an incredible new interactive experience to Lovense toy owners,” the company says.

Using the Haptics Connect app, available on Google Play and the App Store, the toys sync up and react to over 650 interactive videos with a built-in script, controlling the vibrations in time to the action on the screen.
