Lovense has launched a live camming function that allows performers to remotely control users’ sex toys en masse, so they can control large groups of fans’ toys simultaneously.

The new Control Me function expands on Lovense’s interactive camming ecosystem by introducing the possibility of ‘control events’, where cammers can invite fan groups to pay to relinquish sex toy control to the performer. Think 20 fans logging on to a performer’s livestream on a camming site, each connecting their sex toy to the site, then the performer selecting controls to have them all vibrate in unison.

Lovense said: “With these events, creators can prompt fans who connect their toys to participate in special shows and then control everyone’s toy with one simple click.”

Lovense Control Me

Control Me can be accessed through the Lovense Cam Extension. The function is basically an expansion and streamlining of Lovense’s existing remote sex toy camming capabilities.

It was already possible for a cammer to control a fan’s sextech device, by the cammer and user connecting directly. This new method integrates directly with popular camming sites, and for the first time offers cammers the chance to control the devices of multiple users.

‘Control events’ like these could offer a lucrative new revenue stream for cam performers. Camming site users paying to remotely control the performer’s sextech device, delivering vibrations to them while they watch, was already a popular interaction, aided by Lovense’s Give Control function.

To use Control Me a cam site user first connects their Lovense sex toy to a camming site or platform. During the performer’s livestream they then tip the correct amount of money or credits that has been set by the performer to unlock the control invitation. The performer can then accept the invitation via an on-screen pop-up, then control the users’ Lovense toy for a set duration.

Lovense said that Control Me is “designed to feel intuitive and permission-based.”

Performers will be able to control the intensity of control events by having users’ sex toys vibrate at different levels. As they are able to control multiple users’ sex toys, it opens up chances to earn from toy control sessions that previously would have been done during private or one-user-at-a-time camming sessions.

Lovense has also been working on allowing AI chatbots to control humans’ sex toys. The company recently launched an in-app AI companion “lover” that you can relinquish your synced sextech device controls to.
