Kiiroo is one of the biggest names in the world of hi-tech, cutting-edge sex toys, and the Spot app-controlled wearable egg vibrator is the company’s latest offering for people with a vagina.
Kiiroo’s site describes the Spot as “the first of its kind”, but my immediate reaction is that this claim is a bit of a stretch. This is a fairly classic toy shape that has been done many times before and, at first glance, this product appears to be a clear direct competitor to the Lovense Lush.
With that said, the Kiiroo Spot does have some new and interesting features, and the only real way to find out if it’s any good is to use it. So I did.
Kiiroo Spot Design & Features

The Kiiroo Spot is an egg-style vibrator designed to be worn inside the vagina, with a long tail for easy retrieval and erotic aesthetics.
The single manual button is also located on this tail, along with the brand’s ‘Spotlight’ light-up function: 13 built-in, colourful, and dynamic “light shows” that you can customize (or switch off) within the app.
I didn’t understand the point of the lights at first. Sure, they look pretty, but you can’t see them that well while you’re using the toy. And I don’t know about you, but I have never felt like I needed my vibrator to have pretty flashing lights.
However, this is one of the features Kiiroo has designed specifically for online sex workers such as cam models; performers can set the lights to respond to customer tips, with the biggest tips giving the most impressive light show. Which, in this case, is pretty cool.
The Kiiroo Spot is made of body-safe silicone in pale pink, which feels soft and luxurious to the touch as well as being easy to clean. It measures around 6″ in total length, just over 3″ in insertable length, and 1.4″ in diameter at the widest point, and weighs in at a petite 65.4g.
As an eco-conscious girly who is often dismayed at the wasteful packaging used by the sex toy industry, I was pleased to see that this toy arrived in a sturdy and recyclable cardboard box with virtually no single-use plastic.
The Spot is waterproof, making it safe for use in the bath or shower (your phone may not be waterproof though, so take care if you decide to use the app functions in the bath.)
One very impressive thing about the Kiiroo Spot is its incredible battery life. A full charge with the included magnetic cable takes around an hour and will give you an amazing five hours of playtime.
The Spot also comes with an impressive array of app-based and interactive features, which we’ll get into in more detail below.
Kiiroo Spot: How is it to use?

I like the shape of the Kiiroo Spot a lot. The gentle bulge on the front of the “egg” presses up against the G-spot, and the gentle curve and narrow tail help to anchor it in place. When I have the Spot inserted, it feels secure and doesn’t constantly feel like it’s at risk of falling out.
Over many years of reviewing sex toys, I have learned that I simply don’t like internal vibrations. They don’t feel pleasurable to me and are far more likely to annoy me than get me off.
The Kiiroo Spot is very much a toy for those who enjoy internal vibrations. I’m willing to hold out hope that someday, a toy will change my mind about this preference, but none has managed it so far.
With that said, I like this toy as a wearable (when the vibrations are switched off) due to its excellent shape. If you’re someone who enjoys wearing an insertable toy as you go about your day or do other things, I can recommend the Spot (though if that’s all you want from your toy, you can get a kegel exerciser or set of kegel balls for a fraction of the price.)
To give the Spot a fair chance, I decided to also test it as a clitoral vibrator. Sadly, the quality of the vibrations is low. They are very buzzy, and not particularly strong. This means that they cause that unpleasant numbing, tingling sensation long before they get me anywhere near to orgasm.
I feel like I say this about a large majority of the toys I try, but that’s because so many toy manufacturers fail to get this simple and critical component right. All the extra features, gimmicks, and pretty light shows in the world aren’t going to cut it if your toy doesn’t have a strong and rumbly motor.
For those who care about discretion, the Kiiroo Spot is fairly quiet in use, even on the highest settings.
Kiiroo Spot: Overall user experience and app control

Kiiroo’s major selling point for its toys is the impressive array of additional functionalities offered by its app. The FeelConnect app (currently on version 3.0) is available for free in your app store of choice, and you do not need to set up an account to use the basic functionalities.
Once you’ve downloaded the app, you’ll need to select “connect new toy” and put your Spot into Bluetooth mode to connect it. See the cardboard insert from the box for instructions on how to do this. The app found my Spot and connected to it in seconds.
When you have connected to the app, there are an array of options for you to choose between.
You can use the “Sync” tab to sync your vibe to interactive content such as many of the VR porn sites. “Touch control” allows you to change the intensity of the vibrations with a swipe of your finger, while “Patterns” allows you to set and save your own patterns.
“Clap control” is supposed to make the toy respond to claps and other types of sound, but the app just shuts down every time I try this function. I’m not sure if this is an issue with my phone or the app itself, but I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it and still had the same problem.
“Device to device” allows you to connect your toy to a partner’s toy. The Spot cannot be used as a “main device” for this function, so your partner will need to have a toy that Kiiroo classifies as a “sensor device.” Unfortunately, it does not specify which toys these are.
To use the rest of the FeelConnect features, you will need to set up a free account or log in if you already have one. Under the “Interact” tab, you can connect with a partner and hand over control to them from anywhere in the world as long as they have a smartphone and an internet connection.
Overall, I found the app’s reliability and responsiveness excellent. The Spot stays connected consistently and responds instantly to most instructions from the app.
Cam performers can connect the Spot to sites such as Chaturbate, MyFreeCams and others, handing over control to viewers or setting custom light patterns. Some performers say that this additional level of interactivity helps them to engage their fans and earn bigger tips.
The Spot’s single manual control button is quite hard to press. It allows you to scroll through three steady vibration speeds and three patterns but, if you hit the button again after the third pattern, the toy switches off. I hate this particular design choice whenever I see it.
I assume you don’t want ruined orgasms? Because this is exactly how you get ruined orgasms. (Unless of course, that type of tech-failure edging is your kink, in which case you do you, friend.)
Kiiroo Spot review: Choosing Between Spot or Lovense Lush?
As a direct competitor to the Lovense Lush, I do think that the Spot wins out. The motors and shapes are similar, and the Spot retails for a little less than the Lush 3’s RRP of $119.00.
Correction: This article was updated after publishing to change the retail price of the Lovense Lush from $139.99 to $119.00.
Some reviewers say that the brand-new Lush 4 is more powerful than the Spot, but I have not yet tested this latest iteration of the Lush to make a direct comparison. We will be reviewing though, of course.
Kiiroo Spot review: The verdict

I think the Spot is a great product for online performers such as cam models, as it has impressive integration with interactive cam sites and the light show functionality adds another layer to the interactivity of these platforms.
The Spot is also a good choice for those looking for a remote control toy to use with a long-distance lover, as long as the user enjoys internal vibrations. The reliable and consistent app functionalities make it enjoyable and easy to use.
However, this toy is significantly let down by its lacklustre motor. As such, I am struggling to justify its cost.
