High-end woman’s sex toy brand Womanizer is known for its clit sucker an air-pulse stimulation technology. So this product, the Womanizer Vibe, has gone in a new direction. This is Womanizer’s first ‘lay-on vibrator’, which means this toy is good for grinding on hands-free and rubbing on other erogenous areas like nipples, too.
It features Womanizer’s innovative ‘UltraWave Vibration’ technology, combining low-frequency, rumbly vibrations with 10 powerful, harmonic resonances. This new technology means that it has a linear motor, providing gentle yet intense stimulation.
It’s priced at $129.00, and in the box you get: the Womanizer Vibe toy quick start guide, safety information, cotton storage pouch, and USB charging cable.
This is Womanizer’s first vibrator (and not a suction or air pulse toy), so let’s see how it compares with other models in the Womanizer range, such as the Womanizer Next or the Womanizer Enhance and also to other vibrators on the market.
Design and functionality Rumble vibes for the win
The Womanizer Vibe is still very recognisable as a Womanizer product, as this device has the iconic ergonomic shape that the Womanizer brand has become famous for – except this product is a lot more compact than other Womanizer toys on the market, such as the Womanizer Next.
It has the on/off, climax control and intensity buttons on its outer side, with the ergonomic ‘pleasure edges’ on its inner side.
The Womanizer Next is made from smooth body-safe silicone and is fully waterproof as it’s made from IPX7 materials. This means that shower and bath play is possible.

Fully waterproof (IPX7 rated)
UltraWave Vibration technology
Womanizer Vibe’s head is formed with all bodies in mind, and it has 360-degree edges to rub and grind on.
It features ‘UltraWave Vibration’ technology: combining low-frequency, rumbly vibrations with 10 powerful, harmonic resonances.
Product Specifications
It has 10 different vibration intensities designed to emulate oral sex using gentle airwaves and a pulsing action rather than a vacuum suction sensation or vibrating directly onto the hyper-sensitive clitoral nerve endings. Each of the 10 settings can be toggled by intensity via the raised button on its outer side.
It also has an ‘Autopilot mode’, offering three 10-minute vibration sequences that are inspired by musical patterns: ‘Melody’, ‘Harmony’, and ‘Orchestral’. These all shift the rhythm and intensity of the vibrations at random, allowing the user to simply lie back and enjoy.
A little white light just below all of the buttons flashes once to show that the device has been turned on. And the little white flashes repeatedly to show that the device is charging.

Unlike a lot of sex toy models, this device came fully pre-charged, which was great as it meant I could use it straight out of the box!
Controls Guide
The autopilot button has a squiggle on it and is set slightly apart from the first two. To start the autopilot modes, the button with the squiggle on it needs to be pressed for 2 seconds. The buttons are easy to find without looking, i.e. by touch alone, because the ‘+’ button is bigger and more raised than the ‘–’ button, and the autopilot button is even smaller and set a little further down the shaft of the toy.
When I turned it on, the first, lowest setting started and I was immediately impressed by the lack of noise! The brand markets it as ‘noiseless,’ and it really was, whisper-quiet. This allowed me to focus on my pleasure without the added distraction of the sound of it.
However, at the most intense settings, numbers nine and 10 for instance, the sounds of the motor can be heard.
The vibrations setting started off very light, but it was still pretty rumbly, rather than buzzy – I’m someone who prefers to be stimulated by rumbling vibrations over buzzy ones, so I was happy with the sensation. As I pressed the ‘+’ button, the vibrations became stronger and harder. However, the highest setting wasn’t as strong as I was hoping for it to be.
During my play session, I decided that I would try all three 10-minute autopilot modes back to back. This meant 30 minutes, where I didn’t have to think about toggling any of the buttons myself. It was great as it meant I could use my hands to touch other erogenous zones on my body, like my nipples and earlobes.
This was a great way to play in a different way. Having said that, I didn’t make it to orgasm by cycling through the three autopilot settings. The Womanizer Next , a previous model, poses stronger and more varied vibration patterns that I found I was able to climax with more easily compared to the Womanizer Vibe.
This toy is ergonomically shaped, which means I didn’t have to use my hand to hold it in place, but could use my thighs to hold it in place instead. It can also be put on its outside side on a surface which allows the user to grind on its pleasure edges.
The ultimate verdict For those who like broad strokes
Best suited for:
The Womanizer Vibe is likely to particularly suit those with sensitive clits, anyone who prefers very rumbly vibrations, and those who enjoy a more all-over, less pinpoint type of clitoral stimulation.
Look elsewhere if:
If you’re someone who likes very strong, intense vibrations, a different Womanizer model, such as the Womanizer Next, would be a better option than this product.
