Is there time for next-gen ‘silent’ vibrators to become a trend before the end of 2024? That possibility has had a boost from sextech company Bellesa, with the company releasing a new range of supposedly ‘silent’ vibrators and making three ‘world-first’ claims.

Bellesa’s sextech arm (the company also produces female-focused porn) has announced the launch of its new Whisper range, initially comprising three vibrators. The first is the WhisperBullet, claimed to be the “world’s first” silent bullet vibrator. It’s available now, and sells for $59.

The company also claimed to have made the world’s-first silent G-spot vibrator, the WhisperVibe, as well as the world’s-first silent rabbit vibrator, the WhisperRabbit. These two devices are expected to be released soon, and will sell for $99 and $199 respectively.

But is the titillating trio truly “silent”? Bellesa says they all use the company’s trademarked WhisperTech, allowing them to cut noise without compromising on power and performance. Indeed, all three of the new devices, which come in a light pastel pink color, have five vibration settings.

Bellesa hasn’t publicly said how WhisperTech works – SEXTECHGUIDE has asked for more information and will update with any response.

Online reviews of the WhisperBullet suggest that the device isn’t quite silent, as claimed, but is extremely quiet and unlikely to be heard by anyone who isn’t right next to the device when it’s being used. Some reviews have also suggested that when the device’s power is increased, there isn’t an increase in the noise it makes.

A promotional video posted on Facebook by Bellesa, showing the three devices in action (in isolation rather than being used on/in anyone, we should clarify), also suggested that they are close to silent.

Vibrators marketed as discreet and quiet are nothing new, but it does seem like prominent sextech companies striving for as near to silent as can be achieved in a motorized product seems to be a new priority. Bellesa launching an entirely new range based on the concept suggests high demand for near-silent vibes, and the company isn’t alone in this new focus.

Recently Womanizer released the Vibe, its first lay-on clitoral vibrator, which is also marketed as the world’s first noiseless vibrator. As is the case for Bellesa’s WhisperVibe, user reports have suggested that the Vibe isn’t fully noiseless, but it is close to silent when in action.
