A man given a prison sentence in Singapore for using OnlyFans has said that he is prepared to be incarcerated, but that his impending loss of liberty hasn’t changed his love of posting nude content on the site.
Titus Low, 22, was given a three-week prison sentence in the Asian city-state for breaching a police order to stay off OnlyFans during an police investigation into him allegedly breaching obscenity laws. He is believed to be the first person in the world to receive a prison sentence for standard use of OnlyFans.
Low pled guilty to the order breaching charge plus a count of transmitting obscene material. His OnlyFans page has not been deleted, but is inactive.
It is illegal to sell and produce porn material in Singapore, which has a largely conservative culture and system of governance. Low promoted a bisexual image on OnlyFans – Singapore essentially made male homosexuality illegal by having a ban on gay sex, but in August 2022 announced that the law would be dropped.
Low is set to begin his sentence on October 26, 2022, and has been fined 3,000 Singapore Dollars ($2,000).
On Wednesday (October 12, 2022) Low told CNN that he hoped that his ban from Singapore authorities to stay off OnlyFans would eventually be lifted, but that he was “prepared” for prison.
“It wouldn’t be fair if the ban stayed. I love what I do and it’s what I’m known for. My nudes are out there already.” He added that he would be “more careful going forward,” he told the network.
OnlyFans did not respond to a request for comment from CNN.
Also on Wednesday Low, who has over 400,000 Twitter followers, tweeted that he was “ready to start a new chapter in life… mistakes were made. Part of life’s learning process, I guess?”
