If you’re the sort of person who likes to keep track of every aspect of your life, sex is probably no different, in which case Sex Keeper could be the app for you.
Unlike some of the apps on these hallowed pages, Sex Keeper is available on the regular Google Play Store for Android and Apple App Store for iOS – though it is listed as “SKeeper” to keep the family atmosphere.
Its goal is pretty straightforward: to give you a few different ways to keep track of your sex life, including a way to log number of encounters, a stopwatch to log duration, and a whole bunch of position listings in case you need to stop for suggestions.
Earlier this year, the app removed all of its charges and is now available as a free download, and we have to admit, as a basic alternative to the Kama Sutra, it’s pretty neat – the 111 line diagrams are very much reminiscent of ‘Position of the Week’ suggestions in womens’ magazines – clear and concise.
All the ideas are available individually or as ‘playlists’ such as “Romantic Hotel Sex” and “New Level of Relations”. You even can favorite your ideas in a wish list to check off once you’ve tried them – either with a steady partner or using it as an alternative to the ‘little black book’.
The slightly weirder part is the stopwatch, which might end up the least sexy thing to suggest using when you’re about to get hot and heavy. “Mind if we time this?” isn’t generally the best sign.
Each experience can be logged by duration, number of positions, number of climaxes and calories burnt (yes, each position comes with a calorie counter), making it more precise than you might imagine.
All in all, it won’t be for everyone, but it’s certainly worth a look. Apple Watch users can get a unique version built for watches too.
