Like all the major players, Amazon doesn’t allow porn content in its AppStore. The good news is that there are ways around that block and it’s not that difficult to do using a technique called “sideloading”. There are lots of ways to do this, and some of them are really fiddly, so we’ve chosen something a bit more straightforward.
Our method works on any device – whether a Fire Stick, one of the more advanced models like the Fire Cube, or even a TV with FireOS built in. The high end models may offer shortcuts, such as using USB sticks, but we’ve tried to make our instructions suitable for any model, so our method just requires access to an Android phone and your FireTV remote.
Do remember that the changes we’re making will reduce the level of security on your Fire TV device – so it’s very important to know that the files you sideload have come from a reliable source. Sideloading completely bypasses Fire TV security protocols and if there’s malware lurking in the file, it will be installed on your device.
Fire TV apps are, in fact, Android apps, so anything from our Android porn app guide should work. All you need to do is follow the instructions below.
What you’ll need to watch porn on Fire TV
If you already know how to side-load apps onto Fire TV devices and just want a list of recommended compatible sites, you can skip this section. If not, click ‘show more’ below for step-by-step instructions (don’t worry, there aren’t many and they’re all very easy).
First off, go to the Amazon AppStore on your Fire TV device and download an app called “Send files to TV” (SFTTV). Open in and scroll through the set up screens. At the end you’ll be asked to give permission for the app to use your storage. Accept this, as we’ll be needing it.
If you want an alternative app that’ll let you install xxx apps on your Amazon Fire device, then the Downloader app has review score of 4.3/5 from over half a million ratings.
You’ll also need a file manager app. There are loads to choose from, but we’re using ES Explorer.
Next, we need to set up Fire TV to accept apps that don’t come from the Amazon AppStore.
To do this, first of all, go to the Home Screen of your Fire TV device. Scroll right until the cog is highlighted. Now you’re in the settings screen.
Scroll down to “My Fire TV” and click. In that menu, you’ll see an option for “Developer Options” and within that, “Install Unknown Apps”. Find your File Manager app in the list and click it to “On”.
You’re ready to go.
On your Android device, open the ‘Send files to TV’ (SFTTV) app that you downloaded in Step 1. The app is free — there are adverts and nag screens which can be removed with a small donation to the author, or you can just put up with the ads.
Select the porn app (or apps) that you want to install on your device. There are free and premium options below these instructions.
Alternatively, you can check out the many apps that we’ve reviewed or reported on in the past. If you do the research on your phone, and download the file, which will have the file extension .apk.
Open SFTTV and select “Send”. A list of files will appear. You’re looking for the folder called “Download”. Find your .APK in that folder and click it. You’ll then see a list of devices. Assuming you haven’t set up multiple Fire devices, there’ll be one on the list, and that’s your Fire TV device. Click on it.
You should see the file transfer happen simultaneously on your phone and your Fire TV. Once finished, you’ll see the word “Succeeded” next to the file. You can pop your phone to one side for now – we’ve done what we needed to with it.
You should find the .APK in that folder. Click on it, and when it asks you to, click “Install”.
Hey presto, your new third-party app should now be in your app list with all the others, once you’ve followed these steps.
Which are the best porn sites to watch on Amazon FireTV?
AdultTime
Bang
There are over 120,000 original scenes available (correct at time of writing), and more than 100 new ones are uploaded most days, so you’ll never run out of porn to watch on your FireTV. You don’t need a premium subscription to install the app, or to watch trailers on your FireTV, but you will need to be logged into a paid account to watch full-length porn scenes.
Wankz
If all you want is access to porn on your FireTV, Bang or AdultTime are both better options, as Wankz last updated its 2D porn in 2016, and it maxes out at 4K. WankzVR is still updated every week, and currently offers over 600+ scenes, in up to 7K UHD.
Pornhub
If you want higher quality videos, however, you’ll probably want to look elsewhere, or stump up the cash for a Pornhub Premium subscription instead. Either way, the Pornhub app should work fine if accessing via a VPN too.

Anything else to keep in mind?
- You can repeat the process of enabling unknown apps as often as you like, but we recommend that you turn off the “Unknown Apps” setting we enabled when you’re not using it, so it can’t be exploited by hackers. Also, it’s worth remembering that third-party apps won’t always be automatically updated, so it’s worth checking from time to time to see if there’s a more up-to-date version offering more features, or fewer bugs.
- If you have a VPN subscription, you should be able to download a version for FireTV from the AppStore. If you don’t have one, check out our guide to VPNs here – remember, you get what you pay for, free VPNs rarely give you the same level of protection.
- Additionally, in your device settings, we recommend you turn off all data collection in Preferences > Privacy Settings. To leave even less of a footprint, it’s a good idea to clear the app cache after your session – the easiest way to do this is with a Cache Cleaner app from the AppStore, of which there are many.
- There are also some ‘alternative’ app stores offering a range of pron app files for download. The good news is that FireOS, unlike regular Android, doesn’t differentiate between apps for tablets and apps for the big screen.
Where’s the app for my favorite porn site?
Most of the big porn sites have a download page for their Android app, if they have one. For example, here is the link for Pornhub’s app. Not every site has one. xHamster and YouPorn, for example, despite their size, choose not to maintain an app.
You may see search listings for downloadable APKs, but we’d suggest staying away from them, as they’re unofficial and may not be safe.
Other ways to watch porn on Amazon Fire without downloading any apps
Obviously, if your favorite site doesn’t offer an Android porn app, you can always just use a browser to watch via your Fire TV/Stick. However, unless you truly don’t care about the digital traces you’ll leave both on the device and generally, then you should try and use a browser with strong privacy options, like Brave or Opera. Then you can have a dedicated browser, and change the settings to ensure all cookies and history are deleted when you exit.
