How to access Roku’s hidden porn channels (and all the codes you’ll need)
If you want all the Roku porn channel codes worth knowing about, you’ve come to the right place – and don’t worry, we’ve included some free Roku porn channels too.
Please Note: As of March 2022, Roku has removed all of its Private adult channels. We’re leaving this list here for now until the sites below have put workarounds in place. Despite the porn industry’s pioneering role in the growth of on-demand content, the tech and broadcasting industry’s caution towards adult content often means those platforms don’t want adult content included in the directories – Apple and Google are notable examples.
Luckily, if you want to watch adult content on the biggest screen in your house, Roku’s free hidden porn channels are one way that won’t require a whole lot of technical know-how or messing around to get up and running. Roku has been around for nearly twenty years, before settling on its current business model in 2008 with its first set-top-box. That was specifically for the fledgling Netflix service, but has since expanded to thousands of ‘channels’ (its term for apps) covering a huge range of different subjects… but there’s no porn TV apps on display.
Except that’s not true if you know how to access the ‘Private Channels’!
Although not specifically geared at porn, many studios use these hidden offerings, designed to appeal to beta testers and closed user groups, as a way to offer their streaming porn service to a wider audience – and that means that you can probably access them too.
How to access Roku porn channels
The first thing to remember is that although there’s nothing illegal about adding these channels, they are not officially supported, and Roku will give you a warning about not breaking your device. We’d like to echo that – we haven’t had any problems so far, but that doesn’t mean you can come crying to us if something goes wrong. With that, let’s get going.
Before you start, you’ll need:
- A laptop (ideally) or phone
- A Roku device connected to your TV.
- Some Private Channel codes (below) – either for free or premium sites.
You’ll also need some Roku porn codes. Because these channels don’t officially exist, they also could disappear or change their passcode at any time – we’ll update them here on this page if that happens though.
How to add porn channels to Roku
- Make a note of any channels you want to add from the Roku porn code section below. Each has a code – usually a word – so write that down if necessary.
- Go to Roku.com and log in to your account.
- Find the option to “Add Channel with Code”. Click that, and simply type in the code for the channel you want. For example, for Pornhub, the code is ‘pornhub’ – it’s often that simple.
- Hit Enter and in a few seconds, you should see the channel added to the bottom of your Roku channels list.
It’s that simple – and with a range of channels – free and paid, gay and straight, softcore through to BDSM, there’s something for everyone, and many paid channels offer discounts to new subscribers.
Straight Roku Porn Channels
While there’s a whole lot of free porn available via Roku devices, some of the free channels might still require you to have a free account in order to be able to access the service. Adult Empire Unlimited is a good example of this, with thousands of scenes available – provided you at least have a free account.

The great thing about using Roku as a porn viewer is that it’s almost completely devoid of malware. Indeed, there are still no viable workarounds that we know of at this time. Anyone with a Chromecast, Amazon Fire TV or Google / Android TV can still watch basically the same set of channels. Pretty annoying about Roku, nonetheless.

Yeah, none of the codes will work anymore, as Roku removed the ability to have private channels. You can still use Chromecast or Google TV to watch porn on the big screen, but not via Roku currently.

Hi Rickie, Roku disabled the ability to host private/hidden channels in March 2022. No workaround is yet in place, unfortunately.

Hello, for now there is no workaround for Roku devices, but we do have guides for watching on Smart TVs via Chromecast, Google TV / Android TV / Android Media Players and Amazon Fire devices (sticks, boxes, etc.)

Playboy has had a bit of an up and down time with Roku. Playboy did use to be available as a Roku private channel, but it isn’t any longer. From what I know of Playboy Now, it is as you described. Playboy as a whole has changed a lot since 2017!
