Camsoda’s vibrating O-seat could finally make cycling enjoyable

CamSoda O-Seat

Adding a whole new meaning to exercise, CamSoda’s latest marketing stunt may make some cyclists happy this Christmas. The adjustable O-Seat is a seat cover with a discreet pocket for a vibrator (not included), that costs $29.99 and comes in three colours: pink, blue and black.

CamSoda recommends slotting in the Lovense Lush 2 Egg vibrator, which retails at $99, though we think you’re probably safe to slot in a remote control vibrator of your own choice too. However, it is primarily marketed towards cam performers on the CamSoda site.

As the Lovense can be controlled publicly over Wi-Fi, cam performers can fix the seat to their indoor smart bike (we’re looking at you, Peloton) and enjoy the real-time vibrations from tipping viewers. Nevertheless, the O-Seat can ultimately be used by anyone with a bike and controlled remotely by a partner.

For the more daring, CamSoda says that you can attach the O-Seat to your bike for “extra comfort and sexual stimulation while riding”.

Did you miss these?

In a way, it’s not a million miles away from Wild Flower’s gender-neutral Enby vibrator released earlier this year, which was also shaped a bit like a bike seat.

“With millions of impassioned riders now taking cycling classes at cycling studios and/or via a smart bike at their home, we figured we’d provide them with some sexual pleasure while doing so,” said Daryn Parker, Vce President of CamSoda. “O-Seat rewards riders for reaching their peak performance with a climax. Now, while people pedal harder and faster, not only will they sweat more and burn more calories, they will also receive sexual stimulation.”

CamSoda specifically recommends attaching the O-Seat to a Peloton or SoulCycle, not missing the chance to jump on the backlash that Peloton received for its supposedly sexist advert earlier in December. CamSoda has offered Monica Ruiz, the “Peloton wife”, a starring role in its ad and the face of O-Seat.
