A new ‘magic’ wand vibrator claimed to have the largest head section on the market in terms of diameter, that’s also app-connected, is set to be released in summer 2024.
The app-controlled Trembler wand has been designed and developed by the porn performer Violet Monroe, who is releasing it as the first product from her company, Violet’s Toys. It’s selling for $69 on the crowdfunding site Indiegogo and is expected to be shipped in June 2024.
The design brief for the Trembler seems to be ‘supersize’, as it features a large vibrating head section that Monroe claims surpasses all rivals in terms of diameter. SEXTECHGUIDE has asked Violet’s Toys to clarify the exact diameter, but to be fair, even judging just by the promo shots it’s pretty huge.
Also making the Trembler stand out is the fact that it’s app-connected, via Bluetooth. The device can be paired with the popular Lovense app, to control it.
The Trembler has five standard vibration patterns and four-speed settings, although customized vibration patterns can be created using the Lovense app which can be downloaded on iOS and Android.
Violet’s Toys said: “Placed on [its] side, the oversized head provides a pleasing vibration over a large area. The end of the head has a pronounced small diameter tip, for a more concentrated effect. And the sharp transition edge between the two zones gives an extremely focused sensation.”
The company added: “Inside the expanded head, we increased the weight of the eccentric by 20 percent. The eccentric [size] is what creates the vibration sensation as it rotates around. Adding more weight to the eccentric results in a stronger pulsation.”
The Trembler can run for up to two hours between charges and takes around 90 minutes to fully charge. It is waterproof, so can be used in wet locations such as in the shower.
Being a crowdfunded project, and coming with caveats about delays in shipping being possible, the Trembler is likely to be a niche product in the wand vibrator sector. Still, its oversized head and app connectivity make it an interesting device.
Pretty on pink: the Trembler wand is expected to be released in June 2024
Monroe isn’t the first high-profile individual to get in on the wand market. In 2021 singer Demi Lovato released her own device, the Demi Wand, designed to be travel-friendly, unlike perhaps the much larger Trembler.
Speaking of the design decisions behind the Trembler, Monroe said: “Personal massagers have been around for decades, but typically they follow the style that was popular back in the 1960s. It’s a good design, but I and many of my friends found it to be limited in functionality and feel.”
