A masturbation device designed to improve men’s sexual stamina has reached its crowdfunding target in just 33 hours.
Seville-based startup MyHixel has spent four years developing the MyHixel I and MyHixel Play app, and it has been well-received on Indiegogo receiving just under $77,000 from across Kickstarter and Indiegogo – almost four times more than its initial funding target.
The MyHixel I device and MyHixel Play app were developed with input from sex therapists, psychologists and experts from the Murcian Institute of Sexology and the University Miguel Hernandez of Elche in Spain, the project’s founders say.
During this development time, the MyHixel I was tested by 56 users who usually ejaculated in less than three minutes. On average, each man lasted three-times longer after using the device regularly over the course of seven weeks.
MyHixel I: ‘Not just a sex toy’
The MyHixel I features a rechargeable battery and a self-heating system, with varying levels of vibrations to practise control during the exercises.
The MyHixel Play app includes a range of methods to improve stamina and track sexual performance with the incentive of badges, rewards and online statistics.
You can use the app individually or with a partner, with a 10-week program featuring specialist exercises to improve ejaculation control.
Optional counselling from professional sexologists is also available on the app, with the aim to improve men’s sexual wellbeing and destigmatize taboos surrounding premature ejaculation.
MyHixel will begin shipping the MyHixel I in April 2019 and the app is compatible with iOS and Android devices.
