MrDeepFakes was the most prominent deepfake pornography platform, operating as both a video tube site and forum marketplace where users could request, share, and sell AI-generated sexual content—primarily nonconsensual deepfakes of celebrities and other women. At its peak, the site hosted nearly 70,000 videos that racked up over 2.2 billion views, establishing itself as the central hub for deepfake abuse and a key marketplace for custom deepfake creation services.
The platform represented a dark intersection of AI technology and sexual content, providing not just a repository of deepfake porn but also the datasets and models users needed to create their own nonconsensual intimate imagery. Its marketplace structure allowed users to commission custom deepfakes, creating an economy around non-consensual sexual content creation. As
we covered when the site shut down, MrDeepFakes closed its doors around late 2025 after its service provider withdrew support, marking the end of what had been described as the most significant node in the deepfake porn ecosystem.
The site’s closure came amid growing awareness of the harms caused by deepfake technology in sexual contexts, an issue that has prompted
legislative efforts to criminalize sharing non-consensual deepfake porn and major tech platforms to implement stricter policies around AI-generated intimate content. Investigations suggested possible links between the platform and individuals identified as ‘David Doe’ or ‘AZ Enrio,’ though the site’s operators largely remained anonymous throughout its existence.
