The second Sex Work Survival Guide Summit is set to take place as an online event in January 2022, featuring sessions about safety for sex workers and advice for succeeding in the industry.

The event, which follows the inaugural summit that took place in January 2021 and attracted 3,000 attendees, will take place on January 9, 2022. It’s free to attend, with registration open now.

Full details of the speakers set to give talks at the event and the sessions that will take place are yet to be announced. Sex Work Survival Guide, the non-profit organization behind the event, has said that sessions will cover marketing, tax and law for sex workers, as well as safety issues.

The President and co-founder of the organization, Tiana North, goes by the name Tiana GlittersaurusRex and is a sex worker activist. Katarina Pierce, who goes by the name The Domme Kat, is Vice President of the Sex Work Survival Guide, as well as a wrestler and fetish film producer. Dr Ash Dark, secretary of the organisation, is a tax expert.

As well as the summit, the organisation puts on regular virtual speaker events. Those who have appeared in the videos include porn actress and director Asa Akira, porn star, musician and lecturer King Noire, and sexual health researcher Stephanie Lykes.
