SVibe is a sex toy company that has won several innovation awards. The brand’s unique selling point (USP) is its trademarked “Snail Tech”, a patented innovation that delivers dual stimulation through a continuous rolling and unrolling motion.
It moves with your body, maintaining constant contact and rhythmic intensity on the clitoris, exactly where it matters most.
The Svibe Snail Jovi Couples Ring is a $69 (£53 in the UK) remote-controlled dual stimulation couples sex toy that’s compact, soft to the touch and designed to fit onto the penis to stimulate the shaft of the penis, while entering the vagina and offering additional external clitoral stimulation.
Made from medical-grade silicone, this waterproof ring features dual motors (for more precise pleasure on both partners), a wireless magnetic charger and a remote control. It’s rechargeable via magnetic USB cable and waterproof, meaning it’s easy to clean and can be used in shower and/or bathtub situations.
Similar couple toys currently available on the market are the Kiiroo’s new Luxus brand the Luxher and Luxhim wearable toy set, the Hot Octopuss Pulse Duo sleeve device upgrade, the Lovense Diamo cockring and the MysteryVibe Legato external vulva vibrator.

Svibe Snail Jovi review: design and features
The toy came in a square box with a magnetic USB charging cable, remote control, and drawstring stow-away bag, alongside the toy itself. There is a multi-language paper instruction manual, with additional information accessed via a QR code printed on the back of the box.
This double-motor insertable couples sex toy is made from body-safe silicone and is fully waterproof, which means that it can be used during bath and shower times too.
This toy’s main marketable feature is its synchronised stimulation second motor, designed for dual stimulation of both the penis shaft and the internal vaginal wall. The toy is made from soft, stretchy rings that are made to fit a diverse range of bodies with a penis.
SVibe Snail Jovi review: in use
We were pretty excited to try this toy together and unboxed it with the hope that we could play straight away. However, it came without any charge, so we had to charge it up first. This gave us a chance to look at the instruction booklet, which was easy to understand and came in a range of languages.
We first added a few drops of water-based lube to the ring part of the toy and slid it onto the base of the penis and under the testicles. It took a couple of minutes to get it on properly so that it was comfortable. He said it was snug but not restrictive.
We then switched it on by pressing the side of the snail vibrator (‘motor 1’) for a couple of seconds. The separate remote control device is used to control it by toggling it during use to get access to the three different vibration patterns and the five different intensity speeds.
“The body-safe silicone, although nice and soft to the touch, doesn’t have as much integrity as it needs to have for the snail vibrator to stay in place. It was quite floppy and needed constant adjustment during use.”
As we changed positions, we had to realign the snail vibration so that it could maintain contact with my clitoris, which was a bit annoying. But having said that, the sensation of the vibrations directly on my clitoris was very pleasurable.
As we toggled through the different vibration settings, we found that only the lightest intensity vibration was rumbly, which is the type of vibration that my body responds to the best. All of the rest of the vibrations were too buzzy, which my body doesn’t enjoy as much.
“My male playmate didn’t find the penis shaft vibration pleasurable, as he felt that it meant he couldn’t feel my vagina as much as he would have liked to. He mused that this toy might be useful for men who have trouble with premature ejaculation.”
The same vibrating motor that stimulates the penis is also designed to simultaneously stimulate the internal vagina. I found that I was enjoying the vibrations of the other, external motor more than the internal motor.
We were also disappointed to discover that the two motors can’t be used independently of each other.
Remote control functionality
The remote control is small and super easy to use. Either of us could hold it in one hand and use our thumb to toggle through the numerous settings. But there is no app available for the SVibe Snail Jovi, unlike other couples toys on the market like the Luxher and Luxhim wearable toy set from Kiiroo or the Lovense Diamo cockring.
It is worth noting that the remote control takes a single replaceable 23A battery and is not rechargeable via the magnetic USB cable.
SVibe Snail Jovi review: The verdict
A strange-looking toy designed to enhance both of our pleasure was unfortunately not very easy to use.
The stronger settings were very loud, so this isn’t necessarily the most discreet toy. There are three different vibration patterns with five different intensity settings, but going from light and rumble to strong and buzzy to much stronger. But if you want some seriously powerful, rumbly vibration settings, you might want to try the Lovense Diamo cockring.
In theory, it’s a great innovation, but in practice, it’s just a couple’s gimmick that on the whole, didn’t enhance our sexual experience together.
The buttons and controls may have been very easy to use, but making sure that it’s paced correctly for both bodies is much more difficult.
‘Motor 2’ stimulates both the penis shaft and internal vagina simultaneously, which is an interesting design feature, but it didn’t bring us to orgasm if climactic results are what you are looking for.
For $69, it’s not a huge investment considering the cost of some other couples’ toys (namely the Luxher and Luxhim wearable toy set, which is $149), but if you want your couples’ sex sessions to be enhanced by bringing in a toy, then you might consider other couples’ toys on the market.
