Womanizer Next review: design and functionality
The Womanizer Next has kept the iconic ergonomic shape that the Womanizer brand has become famous for. It has the on/off, climax control, and intensity buttons on its outer side, with the pulsing/suction head part and auto-pilot function on its inner side. Womanizer Next’s stimulator head is formed to surround the clitoris completely, but since no clitoris is the same, these products come with two differently sized heads to help ensure that everyone can enjoy the right fit for their body.
This new Womanizer model comes in three colors, sophisticated dark purple, black, or the pastel-hued sage-colored product. The device weighs 480g, and is 17.1cm long, with a run time of 240 minutes and a charge time of 120 minutes.

Unlike most sex toy models, the device came fully pre-charged, which was great as it meant I could use it straight out of the box! I had a look at the two sizes of suction heads and decided that size ‘M’ which came already attached to the toy was the best option for my particular body shape.
When I first pressed the on/off button, the small purple light came on to show that the toy was switched on. But it didn’t seem to do anything. This was because the Womanizer Next features ‘Smart Silence Technology’, which means the toy only starts when it meets your skin. Also, it hardly made any noise at all, which is unusual for sex toys of this type, making it a massive plus.
The first air pulse vibrations setting started off very lightly and slowly, to the point that it wasn’t immediately obvious whether I’d managed to turn it on properly. But as I pressed the ‘+’ button the pulses became more rapid and intense. The highest setting was too strong for my preferences and so I kept the pulses in the mid ranges of speed and intensity.
This new generation of Womanizer toys has a ‘Climax Control’ feature offering three depth levels of the airwaves. I tried out all three settings and found that depth setting number three could bring me to orgasm in less than five minutes. If you’re someone who likes to race through arousal to orgasm, then this setting is one for you guys. But I prefer a slower journey so will be mindful of how quickly my body responds to the deeper intense settings.
This toy is ergonomically shaped which means I didn’t have to use my hand to hold it in place but could use my thighs to hold it in place instead, which is handy if you want to read some raunchy material in a book or do some phone swiping while masturbating.
Womanizer Next review: the verdict
The Womanizer Next is certainly an upgrade from previous Womanizer models and gives a premium hands-free masturbatory experience. If you’ve already got one of the previous Womanizer models, the price point of the Next is fairly steep in terms of justifying an upgrade and it might not be worth your while to shell out the extra cash.
But if you’re new to the brand’s innovative 3D Pleasure Air technology, this product really does create fantastically pleasurable sensations throughout the whole vulva and clitoral areas.
