SexLikeReal is unlike any of the other VR porn sites we’ve put together a review for so far, because instead of being a single studio or a bundle offer, it’s a huge catalog of 28,259 scenes that are mostly provided through a Premium subscription option.
On the surface of it, when most other VR porn sites have 1,000 or fewer, a single subscription that brings together thousands in one place, and throws in a free app to make watching a bit more convenient too should be a bit of a no-brainer.

However you like to search and filter for your VR porn content, SexLikeReal will have you covered, as you can cut up the huge catalog pretty much anyway you like. That in itself is more a necessity on SLR than it would be on some rival sites, simply because it has so many scenes to filter through each time. Imagine just scrolling through 6,000+ scenes to find something you wanted: it’d be fine, but you’d never find lots of scenes you’d probably enjoy.
What this means is you can filter by studio, performers, niches, newness, tags, best sellers, your own favourites, and videos included in the Premium subscription option (more on that below).
Those filters are all additive, as well, so if you select a particular studio, then a particular tag, it’ll only show you results from that studio for that tag, for example.
Whether you’re first accessing Sex Like Real on a desktop or mobile, the design, navigation, categorization and other options have been well thought out, and are clearly geared around making things easier for users.
For example, on each video, there’s a play in DEO VR and play in SLR app button, which means you have the option of just hitting that and the video will start playing in your app of choice.
Naturally, both streaming and download options are available for all scenes – and as always, you’ll get a better resolution from downloaded scenes than you will streaming them directly.

If you’ve read any of the other VR porn reviews on this site, you’ll know that convenience is highly appreciated and usually results in a good user experience, and thus good review score. BaDoink’s virtual theater mode (which doesn’t require an app installation) helped the company make it to the joint second spot in our overall rankings.

Likewise, VRBangers has a great app (one of the factors that makes it our Editor’s Choice recommendation VR site) available that makes watching a breeze, and thankfully, so does SexLikeReal. Even more usefully, it’s available for every platform, so no matter what kind of VR headset you have, you’ll be able to use the SLR app to watch VR porn – it even includes 24 free full-length VR porn scenes to get you started.
Once you’ve installed the app on your chosen device – how you do that varies according to what kind of headset you have – the SLR app truly does make finding and watching VR porn videos as simple as it could possibly be.
It essentially functions as a huge VR porn movie theater, within which you can filter (say, if you’re a Premium member and don’t want pay-per-download scenes included in your results, for example) and play directly.
On each scene info page, you can also choose to download it to your SLR app library – it’s worth noting that files downloaded here won’t show alongside other VR porn downloads from other sites in other VR player apps (like DEO). You can also add scenes to your favorites list for quick access later.
You can also even just restrict your selection to a specific resolution or viewing angle too, both of which are super-handy when used in conjunction with the categories available on the left of the screen in the app. A list of studios is shown on the right of the screen.
It’s worth noting here that, as usual, we’ve tested using an Oculus GO headset, which means that to get the app sideloaded onto the device you have to jump through a few hoops. Thankfully, it’s all pretty simple and doesn’t cost any money: just remember that you have to log in to your Oculus account in a regular browser first, head to the developer dashboard and then create an ‘organization name’.
This isn’t anything to do with SLR, but it is necessary if you want to enable developer mode on your Oculus GO headset. Once you’ve set an organization mode, you’ll be able to switch on developer mode in the Oculus settings app on your phone (just click your connected headset, then click ‘more settings’ then ‘developer mode’).
You only have to do that once though, so when the app is installed there’s no more faffing around required – and if you’re using it on any other platform, it’s even simpler to install directly without needing to enable sideloading.

While we’d normally give you an exact number of scenes available on a VR porn site, there are so many on SexLikeReal that it’s almost not even worthwhile. Does it matter if there are 12,100 or 12,300 scenes to watch? Either way it’s a hell of a lot of VR porn.
Currently, the maximum resolution is 5K (there’s the rare remastered 6K scene hidden away, but not many), and there are around 53 different studios’ content included in the SLR Premium subscription. That’s about half the total number of studios available on the site or in the app.
The quality of the scenes themselves depends on which company produced them, but in some cases SexLikeReal has worked with the companies to improve the base level quality.
The result of the huge selection of scenes and studios, is a pretty wide variance in quality – even between scenes that are both ‘4K’ or both ‘5K’ viewed on the same playback and codec settings.
It’s not something that’s SLR’s fault, but it is worth thinking about which scenes you are truly interested in if you’re considering the Premium option, instead (or as well as) the pay-per-download route.
Experience
The SexLikeReal experience truly is one of the best going overall – though it’s worth noting that VRBangers no longer provides its ultra-high resolution scenes to SexLikeReal, and the catalog can change, depending on whether deals with existing sites expire or not.
However, the SexLikeReal app is a fully-integrated affair that provides access to every scene available and integrates pretty much any other feature you could want from the mobile and desktop experience. It’s the most similar experience in viewing VR porn than you can get to viewing a regular porn tube site, except that all the videos are high-quality and full-length.
However, be sure to take note of the content included in the Premium subscription before signing up, as while any studio can add their content to the ‘Premium’ section, much of it is made up of smaller studios. That’s not necessarily a bad thing though, and it makes it pretty good for niche content. The downside of having content from smaller studios is that they often haven’t invested the same amount of money in the technical side as bigger companies, and it shows in the final quality of the scenes.
Premium does include up to 8K scenes now though, which is never a bad thing, and there are plenty of good reasons to consider the monthly subscription option, just know what you’re paying for before you do.
On the pay-per-download side, you’ll want to make use of the discounted filters regularly to see what’s on offer at a reduced cost – scenes tend to range from around .99 cents up to $10 or so.
Subscriptions, pricing and VR cam tokens
SexLikeReal has a range of pricing options for pay-per-scene users, tending to range from around $1 to around $10 for each scene. Obviously, in many cases this doesn’t make a lot of sense to purchase individually, if you’re a fan of a particular site.
SexLikeReal (SLR): Overall
There’s really no doubt that SexLikeReal is a quality option in the adult VR world, and the flexibility that it offers by having both pay per download and a subscription option will make it appealing to many users that just want to sign up for free and have a look around.
When they do, they’ll find over 28,259 VR porn scenes – albeit of variable quality – and an excellent app that works in any headset and has a crazily good set of filters and features to make short work of working through that catalog.
The Premium subscription itself offers undeniable value on the sheet number of scenes alone, but the caveat there is that you won’t find many ‘big name’ brands in the list of included sites. If that doesn’t bother you, $30 per month for thousands of VR porn scenes is pretty much a no brainer. You can always purchase the odd individual scene from other non-included studios anyway.
The only thing it’s truly missing right now is a selection of interactive (teledildonic) VR porn scenes, but we’re pretty sure that this will arrive too, in time. Besides, with a free app that has some full length free scenes to watch, there’s really not a lot to lose in trying it out in the meantime.
