Lovense is attempting to hoover up the clit-sucking sextech market with the release of the Tenera 2: the latest in the brand’s app-controlled clitoris stimulator range.
A sequel product to the 2022 Tenera, the Lovense Tenera 2 joins an increasingly crowded clit-suction device market, although being app-controlled is still relatively rare in this specific sector.
The Tenera 2 has a retail price of $259 but is being sold for less than half this around its launch. It uses Lovense’s PulseSense technology, which delivers airwave pulses from a wide suction mouth part to simulate oral sex-like suction. It can produce up to 4,500 pulses per minute.
The main external design change between the Tenera and the Tenera 2 is a larger suction mouth in the new model. It has a diameter of 22.6 millimeters at its widest point, compared to 15 millimeters for the original model, with the new version designed so it can fit entirely over the clitoris and ensures pleasure accessibility for a wider range of vulva shapes and sizes.
Like most of Lovense’s other new sextech products, the Tenera 2 can be controlled via the Lovense Remote app as well as via buttons on the device. Users can sync up to the brand’s other smart devices such as its smart nipple clamps, Gemini, or the Max 2 masturbator if you want to sync up with a partner.
Up to ten suction patterns can be saved on the device, which Lovense claims has a maximum noise level of 43 decibels, which is pretty quiet by sextech standards (below a normal conversation). It takes 70 minutes to charge and can be used for up to 78 minutes between charges.
It weighs 105.6 grams and is waterproof, so can be used in the shower or bath, as well as making it easy to clean.
Other clit-focused sextech products to hit the market include The Whisperer, made by the Smile Makers company, and the Satisfyer Pro Gen 3, the latest in the popular Satisfyer Pro clit-sucker range.
