Lovense has released the remote controlled Gush 2 penis massager device: a sequel product to the Gush, that was considered a top-end sextech device and was known for its realistic feel.
The Gush 2 is billed as a premium penis massager that is far more compact than many larger, boxy-looking penis sleeve-style devices in the sector, and one that can be worn hands-free. It is 106 millimeters long, with a width of 54 millimeters at one end and 33 millimeters at the other, and weighs 195 grams.
Lovense says that the Gush 2 style of penis massager is particularly suited to edging: the act of bringing yourself close to orgasm but then pulling back so you don’t quite reach climax. A feature new to the device is it delivering oscillations to targeted sensitive areas of the penis, as well as general vibrations.
The company claims that the new device can deliver 4,300 oscillations and vibrations per minute, and that it has unlimited oscillation patterns. It has three steady vibration settings.
Its ‘hands-free’ design – as there’s a strap that can hold it in place for you – makes it particularly interesting for people with limited grip strength or other mobility issues.
The Gush 2 has a standard retail price of $199 but is being sold for $89.99 around launch. As is standard for new Lovense products, it can be controlled remotely via the Lovense Remote app. The device can be synced with action on videos (including VR videos), and also synced to music plus some PC and app games.
With a waterproof rating of IPX7, the Gush 2 can be used in the shower, and the company says the battery should last up to 110 minutes between charges, depending on the vibration intensity and modes used.
The Gush 2’s closest rival in the penis massager sector is likely to be the Hot Octopuss Pulse range, which offers similarly priced and sized devices and also has a strong reputation for quality.
