Lovehoney has released its first thrusting penis masturbator sex toy, although that is arguably not the most notable thing about the Blowmotion Thrusting Male Masturbator.
The new device is the latest in the company’s range of Blowmotion penis stimulators, retails for $124.99, and follows in the footsteps of the Blowmotion Suction Vibrating Male Masturbator and the Blowmotion Real-Feel Turbo Power Male Masturbator.
The new device has a quirky function rarely seen in the penis masturbator sector, in the form of a ‘sound effect’ option. You can plug headphones (provided with the device) into the thruster and listen to a recording of passionate moaning in a female voice, as you let it happily thrust away on your dingus.
As the product images here show, the Blowmotion Thrusting Male Masturbator packs a lot of size as well as sound. The device is just under 27cm long, making it large by current penis stroker device standards. While it might not seem built for travel, the device does have a travel mode option, to help prevent it thrusting around inadvertently during transportation.
The thruster’s internal section is around 11.5cm in length, with an inner canal diameter of 2.5cm. It can be played for up to one hour between charges, and is splashproof but not waterproof.
The device is controlled with buttons on the side of the shaft, and can’t be controlled remotely. It has seven thrusting levels and seven vibration patterns, plus a turbo button designed to be activated when you’re close to climax, to intensify the movements.
Some early adopters of the Blowmotion Thrusting Male Masturbator have said that the headphones and ‘moaning’ sound effect option gives a new dimension to the penis stroker experience, while others have said it seems superfluous – a balance of opinions that you’d expect from a mostly quirky feature.
Most sextech companies looking to add media elements to their product use have focused on syncing device movement to video and other content, rather than providing recorded, un-synced soundtracks and some in-box headphones, which all feels a little old-school. Others provide additional features based on responding to music and ambient sounds.
Lovehoney may well have introduced the sound effect feature to attempt to differentiate its inaugural penis thruster in an increasingly crowded market. Other popular stroker devices include the Kiiroo Keon, the Hot Octopuss range and the Lelo F1S V3, which was released earlier in 2024. All of these have a more advanced feature set though, including that interactive sync feature.
