Lovense has released a new AI webcam aimed at porn cammers, featuring a new function that makes the camera zoom in on a particular body part when tips are activated during a livestream.
The Webcam 2 is an upgrade of Lovense’s Webcam, which came out in early 2023. The new model sells for a launch price of $149.99, so is similarly-priced to its predecessor in that sense, but brings a few new features.
For example, the Webcam 2 has an upgraded AI tip activation function, which allows performers to set it up so that the camera zooms in to pre-set positions on the cammer’s body when tips are sent by viewers. The camera can be used when live camming on popular porn camming sites such as Bongacams and CamSoda.
For this function to be used, the Webcam 2 needs to be synced to the Lovense Cam Extension Chrome browser extension, the Lovense OBS Toolset software, or the Lovense Stream Master desktop download.
Like the original Webcam, the Webcam 2 has ultra HD 4k resolution and its basic zoom function can also be controlled by the performer’s hand movements, enabling hands-free use while camming. When this is enabled, you can make the camera zoom in or out by creating a capital ‘L’ shape with your fingers then moving your arm up and down.
An AI face-tracking camera mode can be activated by holding up the palm of your hand to face the camera. This mode can be switched off by making the same hand gesture. The camera can also be controlled by a smartphone using Lovense’s camming software.
Other AI functions include a background noise cancelling mode. The camera’s audio functions can also be set to focus on voice, balance music, or suppress voice.
The 2023 Webcam was the first webcam from Lovense, which is best known for its remote-controlled sex toys. The company following the Webcam up with a sequel product relatively quickly suggests further confidence that performers are interested in cameras specifically designed with porn streaming in mind, rather than just off-the-shelf webcams.
Earlier in 2025 Lovense released the Lush 4, a G-Spot-focused vibrator with LED lights that can flash when activated by camming tips.
