Why?

VR porn studio BaDoinkVR is updating its videos to allow them to be synced with teledildonic sex toys, via Funscripts.

On April 17, 2023 the studio announced that there were 30 BaDoinkVR interactive videos had been updated to sync with remote control sex toys, and that it was working on updating the rest of its video catalog. The syncing will work with interactive sex toys including The Handy and Kiiroo’s range of sextech devices.

The software, Funscripts, is comprised of digital scripts that pair with interactive sex toys, syncing up the movements of the devices in line with the action going on in the VR porn videos. BaDoinkVR said the move was made following a spike in demand from users for more sex toy integration.

Lucas Elliot, BadoinkVR’s content director, said that the syncing tech produces a “highly immersive virtual reality experience in which the user will be transported another level deeper into their VR experience.”

Although VR headsets are yet to become truly mainstream in terms of home use, VR porn is a growth area of the porn industry. Recently porn camming site XloveCam launched a new VR camming section and gave away VR webcams to porn creators, anticipating further interest in the sector.

Elliot said: “As both VR headsets and interactive sex toys become more affordable and accessible, I think that more and more people will begin to look for ways to have even more immersive VR experiences.”

Playing catch-up…

BaDoinkVR has a library of 722 VR scenes, with more than 2,000 scenes available across its five main VR sites. It says it’s working to make all of them compatible with remote sex toys.

While it’s good that BaDoinkVR has added support for interactive sex toys, nearly seven years after we first enquired about it during our initial review, some rival sites have far more interactive scenes already (POVR has over 500 available currently and FeelVRPorn is dedicated to them), while other platforms such as FeelMe and SyncMo are taking a different approach entirely.
