SexLikeReal (SLR) has told SEXTECHGUIDE that the VR porn company’s penis stroker device is expected to be released around spring 2026, following delays due to redesigns.
In 2023, SLR said it scrapped a stroker design it had taken to prototype stage, and that a redesigned version would be released in mid-2025. Now, with mid-2025 in the rearview mirror, the new device is almost ready for production, with an initial run of 1,000 units expected to reach the market by around March 2026.
An SLR manager who goes by the name ‘Adrian VR’ told SEXTECHGUIDE: “We’re already on the final stage. I’ve already seen it, I already touched it, I already tested it.”
Adrian VR was speaking at the 2025 Venus Berlin adult industry conference, where SLR won multiple VR porn site awards. He said the stroker would have a silicone penis sleeve attached to it, like many existing strokers, but claimed that it would have a far smoother stroke action than many rival products.
“It has completely different technology of transmitting power from the motor to the actual sleeve,” Adrian VR said. “When it comes to range, whether it’s big or small, you can see that other devices [aren’t] able to do it smoothly. They’re doing a jerking movement. Our device is capable of doing it really smoothly.”
Adrian VR confirmed that the stroker could be used hands-free, by being attached to furniture. It will have modes for offline and online use, and will be able to sync with a huge number of videos on the SLR site [NSFW], which have digital scripts syncing action on screen to penis stroker movements.
He said that in terms of market placement, SLR’s stroker will sit somewhere between the forthcoming Handy 2 and Handy 2 Pro devices. This could mean that the SLR device may have a price point of around $200.
After the initial production run of 1,000 penis stroker devices is made, SLR plans to make a second batch of 3,000.
The spokesman said that SLR is likely to release a video demonstrating the forthcoming device soon.
VR porn with friends?
Adrian VR revealed that SLR has over 100,000 active monthly users. For many of them watching VR porn is likely to be a solitary affair, but the company is set to roll out a new feature allowing you to watch SLR content as a group, remotely.
The new “multi-user feature” will allow friends to log onto SLR simultaneously and watch content together, and chat within the content screen.
It sounds like it’ll be a bit like watching a porn livestream, where users can add comments, but for private groups of SLR-subscribed friends. Expect it to launch relatively soon.
Choose your VR porn adventure
For the longer term, Adrian VR said that SLR was working on more interactive VR porn content, such as videos in which you can choose to move locations and choose actions. The idea is a sort of ‘choose your own adventure’ approach to VR porn, allowing you to select options for how the ‘story’ develops.
“Let’s say I want to go to the pool with her [a female VR porn star], I want to go to the kitchen, I want her to do a massage,” said Adrian VR. “We are building a big feature… building your own journey… where viewers decide where to go.”
He didn’t reveal exactly how this would be achieved, or whether it would involve fully filming various scenes and movements as options to choose in a video. He did say that the function would utilise AI, and suggested that if a user has a favourite VR porn model, AI could help pull in more content by that model for the feature.
“We’re partnering with content creators… the more content we have, the more precise and smooth this experience will be,” he said.
Adrian VR added that quirkier interactive functions, such as being able to generate digital items such as a flower to give to a VR porn performer, are also being developed. “Let’s say I don’t like this video, I’ll be able to generate a rotten tomato and throw it,” he said.
“That’s how we see the future of content consumption,” he added.
