Interactive sex doll company Ridmii [very NSFW] has updated its app so it lets you give control of your robotic doll to someone remotely, so they can control the doll’s squeezing, thrusting and heating functions.
Most people assume that sex robot and doll owners buy products like these because they have a somewhat solitary love life, but a Ridmii spokesperson told SEXTECHGUIDE that the company was targeting the long-distance couples market with their doll and app combo.
Riidmii is registered in Hong Kong and produces its sex dolls in mainland China. Its app-connected sex dolls were launched in 2024, with the new remote-control updates added recently in 2025.

The company’s app is called Mutuafun, and is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. You can sync the app to your Ridmii doll via Bluetooth, with some models having functions such as oral heating, internal vaginal vibrations, and vocals (well, ‘moaning‘), many of which can be controlled within the app.
In the app you can create a private chat room, into which you can then invite other app users into by giving them an entry code. Once they’re in the private room, the remote user can then use their app-connected phone to control the sex doll.
The idea is that partners who both have the app could use this function for a sex robot-assisted remote sex session. However, the app also has a sex doll community chat room function, meaning that you could invite strangers you meet in the app to control your sex doll, should you wish.

Ridmii refers to its humanoid products as sex dolls rather than robots, although many models do have this app connectivity and some robotic capabilities. The models tend to be priced just under $2,000, so are cheaper than arguably more sophisticated sex robots such as RealDoll products.
Some of the Ridmii models also come equipped with vocal functions, that make the doll respond with pleasure sounds when it’s touched in intimate areas.
“It’s not quite an AI doll yet,” a Ridmii spokesperson told SEXTECHGUIDE, “but it bridges the gap between physical intimacy and digital interaction in an interesting way. We’re excited about how it might fit into the broader conversation around interactive pleasure tech.”

While the basic functionality of Ridmii’s dolls may not be groundbreaking, the new focus on allowing couples-focused remote control is an interesting development.
The chat room app function acknowledges that while many sex doll and robot owners use their products in a very private way, there is a dedicated community of sex robot enthusiasts (or ‘iDollators’) keen to discuss their experiences and find common ground online.
Will that desire for community mean that sharing control of sex robots remotely to strangers becomes the next step in ‘iDollator’ circles? It’s logistically possible now, at least.
