In a sense, 18VR is a victim and a beneficiary of its newness – the site has been around for considerably less time than the main BaDoinkVR (it’s owned by the same company) – and as a result is both a doddle to navigate and find content, but that’s largely because right now there’s not all that much to get lost in, though new scenes are being added each week, so it’ll grow swiftly I imagine.
Nonetheless, at the time of writing, there are just available to download or stream on 18VR, featuring different performers.
Beneath each video (when you look at each individual page), there’s an emoji rating system so you can leave feedback on the clips and tags to help you jump to similar videos.
To the right of each (or below when viewing on mobile), there’s the option to select different quality downloads depending on your device.
The longest VR porn video on 18VR, at time of writing, is 42 minutes long, with most around the 30-minute mark, giving a balance between huge downloads and scenes that are long enough to immerse yourself in.
The stars are exactly what you’d expect of a site focused on more youthful performers – though, as with VR porn in general, there’s not a whole lot of diversity on offer. Many of the scenes feature two girls with one guy.
18VR Review: Features/Extras/Technical Details
18VR is a little light on extras right now – there’s no Best Viewed (angle) indicator, which is useful on a few of the other sites (like WankzVR), for example. But that’s also not much of a problem, unless you were buying specifically to use with a Fleshlight Launch or Kiiroo device, as it doesn’t support teledildonics.
In video quality terms, all 18VR videos are a mix of 5K and more recently introduced 8K stereoscopic 3D at 60fps .
While there’s no combo discount on offer for the longer term subs, you do get a free month trial of some of the sister-brands when signing up for an annual 18VR.com plan.
18VR Review: Pricing
Packages for 18VR.com are simple – you have a $1 trial, one month of access, or a whole year. As always, if you want all the new content for the next year without having to cancel and rejoin, this works out by far the cheapest option.
The first two options, on the signup form, have a tickbox for VRCosplayX that’s checked by default, so don’t forget to change that before you hit submit if you don’t want the VRCosplayX trial too. Included with all subscriptions is access to BaDoinkVIP, which has more than 10,000 non-VR porn scenes to stream or download.
Payment options are Visa/Mastercard Credit or Debit cards.
- $1 trial: This option is a taster. For $1 you get access to a single download and the ability to stream VR porn.
- One month: This is a regular ongoing monthly subscription that rebills at $24.95 each month.
- One year: This is for anyone that wants 18VR porn all year round. Stumping up for a year up-front cuts the cost a lot – right down to $6.66 per month, making a single total charge of $79.95 each year.
Two new scenes are added each week, which has helped grow the catalog since it first launched back in 2017.
18VR can’t offer the same amount of content currently as other niche sites, but what is there features some well-known (and lesser known) porn stars and delivers a great experience in ease of use and the same level of polish in the final product as we’ve now come to expect from Badoink-owned services (it also has VRCosplayX).
At $24.95 for a rolling monthly subscription, it’s a tough sell with just 17 videos – and a couple of new ones each week – you’d be better off signing up for a month then cancelling once you’ve downloaded all the videos at the end of that month, then re-subscribing later to download any that have been added subsequently.
If, however, you want to see a variety of VR vids that would all sit happily in the ‘teen’ category without having to filter through a wider catalog, assured that they’re high-quality shoots, then 18VR could be right up your street.
18VR is great, as long as you want that one thing and nothing else. All it needs is a little time to grow the catalog and add a few new features (like teledildonic support) to improve its score.
