Lovense has partnered with the much-hyped AI assistant OpenClaw in an attempt to turn its sex toy control app into a more widely-used lifestyle tool, and to let users sync sex toy vibrations with activities such as travel movement.
The company, best known for its remote-controlled sextech devices, announced its integration with OpenClaw, saying the move will turn the Lovense Remote app into a “versatile automation assistant capable of sending emails, scheduling appointments, [and] shopping, while controlling Lovense smart toys.”
OpenClaw (originally named Clawdbot, then briefly Moltbot) is an open-source AI assistant and was released in late 2025, but has quickly gained traction beyond tech circles. It can be linked to apps and platforms such as WhatsApp, Telegram, Discord, Slack and iMessage, and perform tasks via them.

As the integration between the Lovense Remote app and OpenClaw progresses, you’ll be able to use Lovense’s app for these tasks as you would a less ‘spicy’ messaging app such as WhatsApp. The aim for Lovense seems to be to encourage users to spend more time using Lovense Remote, making it part of their lives beyond sextech control.
The integration could also open up possibilities for more customization when controlling Lovense sextech products, by utilizing OpenClaw’s AI for personalization.
Lovense suggested that couples-focused tasks and planning would be natural fits for the integration. The company gave the example of using the integrated app to plan a trip with a partner, with OpenClaw’s AI suggesting date locations plus flight and hotel bookings.
Of course, the company suggested an element that you wouldn’t get through WhatsApp or iMessage. Lovense said that the integrated app could be used to set a sex toy’s vibration patterns and intensities to vary based on the speed of the aircraft the user was on for the trip.
The company said: “Additionally, users can use voice commands to have the app suggest nearby restaurants and activities. Throughout the trip, the Lovense Remote dynamically controls the toys based on the user’s mood and surroundings, amplifying the enjoyment of travel.”

The company also suggested using the integrated app for planning dates, including, of course, the use of vibrating sex toys.
Is there really a future in which people are using a sex toy control app for lifestyle tasks like this? It could have potential with heavily-invested Lovense product users, especially if they enjoy using the remote control products out and about. Or perhaps with cam performers, offering fans more immersive experiences.
Is this a good idea?
There are, however, concerns about OpenClaw’s ability to integrate with personal data and information that could potentially be accessed through email and file accounts. Cybersecurity experts have spoken about potential malware risks related to OpenClaw.

Colin Shea-Blymyer, research fellow at Georgetown’s Center for Security and Emerging Technology, told Fortune of AI assistants that operate like OpenClaw: “The more access you give them, the more fun and interesting they’re going to be — but also the more dangerous.”
With that in mind, let’s not forget that Lovense is releasing its first AI sex robot (pictured above), expected to become available in 2027. OpenClaw will surely be able to suggest some novel ways to spend an evening with her.
