A new penis masturbator that can synch with any adult video played on a PC device is being launched, billed as the world’s most advanced convolutional neural network (CNN)-based artificial intelligence (AI) masturbator.
The Syncbot has been developed in Hong Kong by a group called VALOR&TOUGHNESS and has been funded on Indiegogo. It sells for a premium price of $4,019 HKD ($512 US).
The makers of Syncbot, which is described as a sex robot as well as a masturbator, developed a CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) system — a class of AI linked to imagery analysis — named AlphaZen. The system uses neural network technology to match the action of the device’s servo motors with the movement of images it is linked to on a PC.
“To be more than just simulating penetration, the algorithm did a thorough inspection on the dimension of the motions, techniques and intensity based on the playback progress,” the makers say.
The connection between the Syncbot and the PC is encrypted, with no data transmitted from the device to the internet. “In short,” the developers said, “as the worldwide first privacy-protecting, stand-alone, offline operating device, Syncbot will be able to turn any kinds of the adult video saved in your PC into realistic feeling.”
The Syncbot is button-less, and is controlled with a touch-pad using touch gestures. It is 25.5cm in length (at its longest section) and weighs just over one kilogram. It’s marketed as a high-end device, and features flexible skin-friendly internal material, with rotation, stroke and contraction movements.
While synching porn videos to a masturbator device isn’t itself a particularly new innovation, the Syncbot does look like a sophisticated piece of kit. As it probably should do, considering it sells for more than double the price of most standard interactive sex toy strokers, such as the Calor, or the Kiiroo Keon.
