Sound-responsive vibrator specialist OhMiBod has returned to the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas to launch the BlueMotion Nex 3, a Bluetooth-enabled vibrating couples ring controlled via the OhMiBod remote app.

As its name suggests, the Nex 3 is an iterative upgrade from earlier models. One that the company says will provide greater satisfaction for the receiving partner, as well as “more consistent body contact and increased stimulation”.

It does this through what it calls an “Extended Touch design with Velvet Wave”. This, essentially, means there’s a cushioned, silicone ridge to increase comfort and pleasure.

A spokesperson told SEXTECHGUIDE that a single charge should last between one and a half to two hours, depending on how it is used – higher vibrations use up more energy than lower ones. Pleasingly, it should also feature a standard micro-USB charging port.

OhMiBod’s app has also been updated to bring new capabilities to users of existing (and upcoming) devices. According to the company, the app now features Bluetooth integration for AirPods and speakers, along with independent volume/vibrator intensity controls. There have also been some performance-enhancing tweaks to existing music syncing modes.

Suki Dunham, OhMiBod’s Founder, called the Nex 3 a “game-changer for couples seeking more consistent body contact and increased stimulation.

OhMiBod has carved out a unique niche in the sex tech industry, choosing to focus its efforts on creating what it calls music-driven vibrator technology. Since being founded in 2006, the U.S. – based sex tech developer’s announced an array of vibrating technologies, including the Club Vibe 3.0H Panty Vibrator

Its newest wearable massager is set to go on sale in March, and should retail for $109. And yes, it’ll also work with an Apple Watch.
